Steve,
Your company continues to amaze me how well you can seamlessly integrate hardware and software into an excellent product. I am a recent convert to the Apple Side having a Mac Mini, iPod Nano 1st gen and 5.5g Video iPod. As soon as the new iPod Touch was announced and I read through the specifications I knew this was the one I wanted. I unfortunately can not get an iPhone due to being stuck in a Verizon contract but when that is up I do plan on moving to the iPhone and AT&T.
The reason for this email is to address the recent change to your website on the iCal feature. When I purchased the Touch it clearly stated on Apple's own site that the contact and calendar entries were editable. That has now been removed after I have purchased.
There has been a lot of flak on the web about missing features that the iPhone has and I was ok with all of those up to this point, especially since it claimed to have it when I ordered. The contact and calendar are a very big reason that I chose to pay the additional price of the Touch and I hope you will reconsider removing this option.
Thanks....
ANTWORT von Steve Jobs:
Feel free to return your iPod touch for full credit.
Best,
Steve
ich werde mir trotzdem den touch bestellen. es trifft mich zwar nicht hart, aber entäuscht bin ich schon. kenne auch leute für die der kalender ein hauptkaufargument ist.
