warum hat Leopard so eine lausige Performance trotz alle Updates???
Aus dem offizielem WoW-Forum:
Under Tiger, there was a bug with NVIDIA drivers where you couldn't actually request a high level of multisampling plus full screen glow. You could set the setting but it would not take effect - the glow would work but the multisampling would not. And the frame rates you would get under Tiger were what you would expect when set to 1xMSAA - faster than 2x,4x,6x etc.
Under Leopard, this bug is fixed to our knowledge - you can now request full MSAA and full screen glow and they will both activate.
So what can happen is, if you had that multisampling left at a high setting, you would be getting a certain frame rate on Tiger but it would be deceptive due to the bug forcing MSAA to be disabled inside OpenGL. Now you upgrade to Leopard, the MSAA actually starts working in conjunction with glow, and you get a frame rate drop since the GPU is working a lot harder now.
When in doubt, disable glow, turn MSAA / aniso / trilinear to minimum and re-launch.
