Das Executive Board der BBC setzt sich, wenn meine Englischkenntnisse nicht zu schlecht sind, ebenfalls aus Mitgliedern aus Wirtschaft, Politik, etc. zusammen, manche sind auch von der Politik zur BBC gewechselt:
"Simon Burke is an experienced retail and consumer executive and has managed some of the best-known retail names in the UK.He trained as a chartered accountant before joining Virgin, where he held various positions, including CEO of Virgin Retail, Virgin Cinemas, and Virgin Entertainment Group.
"Sally was previously CEO of BT Wholesale. She is currently a Non-Executive Director of Telenor, Logitech and the Department for Transport with specific interests in education, disability and mentoring young entrepreneurs.“
"Dame Fiona Reynolds DBE was Director-General of the National Trust from 2001 to 2012. From September 2013 she will be Master of Emmanuel College, Cambridge and in addition to her role on the BBC Executive Board is a non-executive director of Wessex Water, a private water company.“
