Thank you for contacting Apple.
If you are able to successfully publish your web site to a folder, try connecting your computer directly to your Internet connection to bypass any wireless access point, router, hub, or other connectivity sharing device that may be contributing to the issues that you are experiencing. Please also turn off iDisk syncing and then use iWeb to republish all your sites and pages by pressing the Option key while you choose File > Publish.
To turn off iDisk Syncing:
1. From the Apple menu, choose System Preferences.
2. From the View menu, choose .Mac.
3. Click the iDisk tab.
4. Click the Stop button to turn iDisk Syncing Off.
5. Close the window and restart the computer.
About iDisk sync
You can create a copy of your iDisk on your computer and make changes to it at any time, even when you're not connected to the Internet. The copy of the iDisk on your computer is called a local iDisk. The settings to turn local iDisk on and off, are located in System Preferences.
When iDisk Syncing is turned on, changes you make to the iDisk on your computer are synchronized with your iDisk on .Mac while you're connected to the Internet. The iDisk on .Mac is called a remote iDisk. The remote iDisk is located on .Mac servers in California. If you log out, restart, or shut down your computer while iDisk is syncing, synchronization of your iDisk will continue when you log in again.
Note: Though both the remote and local iDisk copies have the same icon when shown on the Desktop, there is actually an easy way to tell them apart. The remote iDisk will always be titled "username" whereas a local iDisk copy will be titled "iDisk."
You may be experiencing a network related issue. A good way to isolate the network, if available, is to attempt to publish the webpages from another network, such as an Apple Retail Store, an Internet cafe, Library, or University.
Note: If you decide to test your network connectivity at an Apple Retail store, we advise you to call ahead to verify a good time to test. When calling your local Apple Retail Store, please press option 5 in the phone tree to speak to an employee.
If you are able to publish the webpages from another location successfully, then you have isolated the issue to your local network or Internet Service Provider. Please try connecting your computer directly to your Internet connection. This will bypass any router, hub, or other connectivity sharing device that may be contributing to the issues that you are experiencing.
If this does not solve your issue, we would then suggest contacting your network administrator, if you have one, or your Internet Service Provider.
Sincerely,
Mel
