Beide Serien verwenden 16nm MLC-NAND von Micron, die MX200 hat einen Marvell-Controller, die BX100 einen SiliconMotion.

Crucial MX200 (250/500/1000GB):
"The Crucial MX200 has a lot to offer consumers with its impressive set of data reliability features (which are often only found in enterprise SSDs), low power consumption, and competitive price point. Though lacking in performance compared to other SSDs, many mainstream buyers will prefer data integrity and price to raw performance." http://www.storagereview.com/crucial_mx200_ssd_review
Crucial BX100 (120/250/500/1000GB):
"The Crucial BX100 makes up for its pedestrian performance with excellent power efficiency as well as one of the lowest SSD price tags on the market. All things considered, the BX100 is a highly recommended SSD solution for budget-minded consumers looking to upgrade their dated HDD systems to an SSD-based setup." http://www.storagereview.com/crucial_bx100_ssd_review
"The Crucial BX100 is absolutely a worthy lower cost successor to the MX100. The use of a Silicon Motion controller helps bring the unit price down further while remaining performance competitive with the Marvell solution used in prior models." http://www.pcper.com/reviews/Storag...-500GB-SATA-SSD-Review-Silicon-Motion-Returns
Interessant: "BX100: The Silicon Motion SM2246EN is cheaper to procure than the equivalent Marvell part, yet still performs rather well."
"The Angelbird SSD wrk is built around a new controller, the SM2246EN from Silicon Motion." http://www.pcper.com/reviews/Storage/Angelbird-SSD-wrk-512GB-Full-Review-Silicon-Motion-all-dressed
Hätte man mit der BX100 dann eine Chance auf nativen Trim-Support unter Yosemite? (habe mich mit dieser Problematik bisher nicht beschäftigt)
