Probleme nach Updates

Hallo.

Ich habe ein Macbook Air (Betriebssystem: macOS High Sierra Version 10.13.6).

Bis vorgestern hat alles perfekt funktioniert!

Leider habe ich dann die Updates "Sicherheitsupdate 2020-002 Version 10.13.6" sowie "Safari 13.1" installiert.

Seitdem hat sich das Macbook 2x aufgehängt. Jedes Mal hatte ich Safari benützt.

Was soll ich machen?

Genau das ging nicht mehr. Ich musste jedes Mal den Knopf zum Ausschalten drücken u. neu starten, weil gar nichts mehr ging.
Das ist doch keine Dauerlösung?

Habe nachgeschaut. Habe noch 6,61GB von 121,12GB verfügbar. Wieviel sollte mind. frei sein, damit das Macbook einwandfrei funktioniert?

10 bis 15 Prozent Minimum. Je nach Anwendung eher mehr.

Den Rest des Protokolls bin ich nicht mehr durchgegangen, da es schlecht lesbar ist. Aber vielleicht hilft das ja schon.

Der Rest sieht soweit ok aus, aber ich würde sofort Flash und Silverlight nach Herstellervorgabe(!!!!!!!) deinstallieren. Die sind beide absolut und total überflüssig und beliebte Einfallstore für Schadsoftware.

Und... Eine Datensicherung hast Du doch mit Sicherheit, oder? Ja...? Nein...?

Aber doch nicht einfach nur ein paar Daten auf einem Stick ziehen.

Bitte mach eine systematisch Sicherung, zum Beispiel mit Time Machine.

Das System braucht natürlich Luft, vor allem am Anfang, solange noch nichts geswappt wurde, aber diese Menge an Luft ändert sich nicht, da ist es egal, ob man eine 128-GB-SSD drin hat oder eine 4-TB-Platte. Eher ist wichtig, wieviel RAM zur Verfügung steht, also wie schnell vielleicht geswappt werden muß.
Wieviel wirklich notwendig ist für flüssiges Arbeiten, das hängt von den verwendeten Programmen ab, nicht davon, wie groß die Platte ist.

Der Bus zum Sicherungsmedium spielt da doch wirklich keine Rolle.
Seriell, parallel, Thunderbolt, USB, SCSI, das ist doch völlig egal.
Hauptsache, es wird gesichert.

Nur daß CaptainLukas' Hinweis "per USB" dazu absolut nichts sagt, WORAUF denn gesichert wurde. Stick, SSD, HDD, Bandlaufwerk, Tontäfelchen?
Oka, Tontäfelchen, auch wenn sie sehr dauerhaft sichern, wie die Archäologie zeigt, werden bisher wohl nicht per USB angesprochen.

Wirf besser nochmal das HP Zeug aus dem Autostart.
HP Product Research.app geht in richtung Spyware.

Grundsätzlich scheinen deine Fehler da nicht aufgelistet.

Dass du komplett ausschalten musstest ist seltsam.
Kamst du nicht mehr auf Apfel -> Sofort beenden?
Command+alt+esc hat auch nicht funktioniert?

Safari Cache Löschen.
Safari Erweiterungen Prüfen/deaktivieren.
Silverlight deinstallieren.
Flash möglichst deinstallieren.


Ansonsten schonmal einen Sparstrumpf für einen neueren mac aufhängen...

Mit ⌥ ⌘ esc beendet man eingefrorene Programme (Apps, die nicht mehr auf Maus- oder Tastenbefehle reagieren) am Mac.

Hast du da irgendeine verlässliche Quelle, die das besagt, also ganz außer was aus Foren?

Was soll denn der Controller des SSD / HDD oder das Betriebssystem genau machen, dass es unter 15% / 10% freiem Platz langsamer läuft. Da ist doch keine Routine drin der Art "if freespace < 10% then sleep x milliseconds"
