Was heißt das? Ich wüsste nicht, dass ich dazu irgendetwas eingestellt hätteAssetCacheLocatorService sucht Cache Server im lokalen Netzwerk.

Kann das wirklich das Problem sein? Ich habe doch noch 18,5 GB frei. Das muss doch reichen damit der Computer klar kommt....Deine SSD ist voll. Dazu rennt ein Caches-Prozess Amok. Vermutlich können die Cches aufgrund der vollen SSD nicht mehr ordentlich arbeiten. Also: Ausmisten!

Lies mal in diesem thread weiter:Ich habe jetzt nochmal ein bischen gegoogelt. Es scheint öfters das Problem aufzutreten, dass der Mac lahm wird, weil der Prozess kernel-task sozusagen eine Bremse einbaut um eine Überhitzung der Hardware zu verhindern. Tatsächlich zeigt die Aktivitätsanzeige bei mir ganz oben den Prozess Kernel task an, der schonmal bis zu 99% der CPU auslastet. Leider ist aber der Prozess nur ein Schutzmechanismus des Mac, der anspringt, wenn aufgrund eines anderen Problems der Compute überhitzt. Da das Problem erst durch das Update auf Mojave 10.14.6 aufgetreten ist, würde ich gerne wissen, ob es eine Möglichkeit gibt das System wieder auf eineVorgängerversion (vielleicht 10.13.x) zurückzusetzen.

Ich habe es bisher nicht hinbekommen. Hatte zwischendurch bis runter auf El Capitan clean installiert und zwei verschiedene Linux-versionen drauf (das geht noch am besten). Meistens geht es eine weile gut, dann kommen die probleme wieder. Unter Linux äußern sie sich in anderen aussetzern. Vermutlich war das update nur ein zufälliger auslöser. Ich fürchte, ich komme um eine erneuerung der wärmeleitpaste nicht herum. Davor drücke ich mich bisher, großer zeitaufwand, das logicboard muss dafür raus.Ich habe mit meinem alten MBP 15" 2012 HiRes die gleichen probleme seit der installation des Mojave-sicherheitsupdates 2020-004. Siehe hier. Eine koomplette neuinstallation ohne das update half kurzfristig. Jetzt taucht das problem wieder auf – ohne große belastung, ohne externe geräte, ohne installierte helferlein.
Nach dieser diagnose werde ich nun zunächst die wärmeleitpaste erneuern. Der computer dürfte innen staubfrei sein, ich habe ihn erst seit ein paar wochen und hatte ihn am anfang offen.
