Mein MBA M1 hat seit ca. 2-3 Wochen das Problem, dass es sich quasi aufhängt. Im Grunde ist es so, dass (sowohl extern als auch intern) Maus und Keyboard nicht mehr reagieren. Nur der Mouse-Cursor bewegt sich dann noch aber ich kann nichts anklicken und die Tastatur geht dann auch nicht mehr. Auch neu verbinden klappt dann nicht mehr. Laufende Videos oder andere Apps laufen ganz normal weiter aber der Computer ist dann natürlich absolut nicht mehr nutzbar. Ich muss dann die on/off-Taste gedrückt halten und neu booten, damit es dann wieder geht.

Das Ganze ist schon recht nervig und ich habe bisher kein Schema finden können, wann das passiert. Ich habe aber einzelne Berichte über das selbe Verhalten im Internet gefunden. Ist aber auch schwer, weil die meisten Themen mit Bluetooth in Verbindung stehen, was bei mir aber kein Problem ist.

Kennt das Problem jemand und kennt jemand eine Lösung dafür?

Auf und zuklappen bringt leider gar nix. Big Sur 11.4 ist drauf. Keine ausstehenden Updates. Wie gesagt - ich bin nicht alleine mit dem Problem, andere haben das auch schon irgendwo genauso beschrieben, wie ich.

Neuen Benutzer anlegen und mit dem Konto testen ob der Fehler dort auch auftritt. Wenn nicht, stimmt was mit deinem Benutzer Account nicht.

@Der Reisende: Das Problem ist, dass es ja nicht reproduzierbar ist und teilweise einige Tage braucht, bis das Problem wieder kommt.

EtreCheck hatte ich schonmal vor ein paar Wochen geprüft und das sah für mich sehr unspektakulär aus. Was genau wäre denn von dem Report interessant, hier zu posten? Alles? Unzensiert?
 
Ich habe ähnliche Erfahrungen gemacht. Neustart nach Aufhängen und dann "Ihr Computer wurde wegen einem Fehler beendet"

Du hast das MacBook Air an einer Dockingstation hängen, nicht wahr? Oder wie sind die 3 Monitore und die ext. Tastatur und Maus angeschlossen?
Was passiert denn, wenn du nur das MacBook Air solo verwendest, also ohne die ganze Peripherie? Sind dann auch die Abstürze/Auffälligkeiten vorhanden?

Ich halte es für keine gute Idee den System Integrity Protection auszuschalten! Das hast du wegen des Display Managers und der Anbindung der 3 Monitore machen müssen?

Die "Dockingstation" ist ein USB-Hub. An dem hängen alle meine Peripherien dran. System Integrity Protection ist wegen des Display Adapters deaktiviert, sonst könnte ich z.B. im Login-Screen keine externen Monitore verwenden. Da ich den Rechner relativ selten nur so verwende und diese Abstürze ja nur alle paar Tage auftreten, kann ich das nicht beurteilen, ob es damit was zu tun hat.

Die Frage ist aber eher: Ist eine ausgeschaltete System Integrity Protection bekannt dafür, dass dadurch interne und externe Keyboards, Mäuse und Trackpads nicht mehr reagieren bzw. nur noch der Maus-Cursor sich dann bewegt? Denn ich will jetzt nicht zwingend sowas ändern, was monatelang ohne Probleme lief, nur weil es z.B. jemand hier "doof" findet, dass ich das deaktiviert habe. Gäbe es da einen erklärbaren Zusammenhang, wäre das natürlich was anderes. Also z.B. dass Apple das nicht empfiehlt, weil dadurch bestimmte (USB-) Ports geblockt werden können oder sowas.

Es wäre in dem Fall für mich also generell interessant zu wissen, wieso der Computer sich normal weiter verhält (Videos, Apps, Spiele laufen weiter) aber die Tastatur und die Maus nicht mehr reagieren, nur weil ich die System Integrity Protection abgeschaltet habe.

Das ist für mich auch das naheliegenste, da ich die Probleme die ersten Monate nicht hatte. Leider sehe ich da kaum Änderungen. Ich habe eigentlich nur einen Scannertreiber installiert und die Mac OS Updates gemacht. Das ist mehr oder weniger alles.

Wie gesagt - es ist extrem schwer, über Google ähnliche Fehler zu finden, da es mal ein Problem mit bluetooth gab und dabei dann die (BT) Tastaturen und Mäuse abgeschmiert sind. Das ist bei mir aber nicht das Problem. Ich hatte bei meiner Recherche mindestens einen User gefunden, der exakt mein Problem beschrieben hatte. Das finde ich aber nicht mehr, darum kann ich das Datum nicht einschränken. Derzeit läuft mein Rechner wieder seit knapp 2 Tagen ohne Probleme. Davor waren es auch ca. 3-4 Tage. Manchmal kommt es einmal täglich, manchmal seltener. Wie gesagt - bisher konnte ich keine Gemeinsamkeiten herausfinden.
 
Hast du ein TimeMachine Backup von vor der Scanner Treiber Installation? Hast du eine externe SSD? Stelle das Backup auf diese SSD wieder her und warte was passiert.
