After updating to Mac OS X 10.4.10, some FireWire audio interfaces may have no sound output.

Solution

To resolve this issue, install the FireWire SDK 24 for Mac OS X from the Development Kits page.

Note: This download requires an Apple Developers Connection (ADC) account. If you are not an ADC member, you can create an account at no charge.

Tja seit dem Update starte ITunes nicht mehr...

Ich starte es. Das Icon hüpft kurz und dann beendet sich ITunes ohne Fehlermeldung wieder, ohne überhaupt zu erscheinen.
 
Dann Update nochmal iTunes. Und schau auch mal in nem anderen Benutzer nach, wie iTunes sich da benimmt.
 
Wie, da tut sich nix?? Alles normal da?? Oder wie in dem anderem Benutzer auch?
 
Ich meinte damit, egal welcher Benutzer. Ich habs nochmal installiert, aber es bringt leider keine Veränderung.
 
Wenn iTunes neu installiert wird, zapft er dann die alte Vorgabedatei an (*plist-Datei) oder erstellt er eine neue?? Das müsste jemand beantworten, der sich näher mit OSX auskennt. Bis dahin würde ich einfach mal die itunes.plist löschen...und dadurch eine neue anlegen lassen...
 
Hab ich auch schon gemacht. Habe mit uApp alles entfernt und nochmal installiert. Bringt leider auch nach einem Neustart keine Veränderung.

Mein FW-Audiointerface funzt wieder einwandfrei und kann wieder angewählt werden!:)
