Hallo Userinnen und User,
ich arbeite mit Omniweb 5.5.4 auf iMac Core 2 Duo. Seit ich nun den Intel-Mac habe, funktioniert die Vorschau von pdf-Seiten nicht mir. Ich schrieb an Omniweb und erhielt folgende Antwort:
Ich habe das gemacht und siehe da, es ging. Ich kann nun pdfs wieder direkt sehen. Allerdings fehlen noch so Dinge wie zB. Zoomfunktion.
Sichern geht jedoch über die re. Maustaste im PDF und Kontextmenü.

Sorry for the inconvenience here. The problems you're encounter is that,
a.) The Schubert-it PDF Plug-in is not universal and thus is no longer compatibile with OmniWeb on Intel Powered machines.
b.) The Adobe Reader plug-in is designed to work with Safari specifically and not in other browsers.
We hope to have native PDF support available in OmniWeb soon. In the meantime there is a trick to get limited built-in PDF support working in OmniWeb now. You can enable this if you like but please be aware that the feature isn't fully implemented yet and so you may find it lacking in features.
Quit OmniWeb.
Open a Terminal window.
At the prompt, run the following command.
defaults write com.omnigroup.OmniWeb5 WebKitOmitPDFSupport -bool False
Restart OmniWeb.
