Du kannst auch beim iPad Dateien einfach per drag&drop ablegen. Es ist auch immer unverständlich, warum nun manche monieren, dass man das meiste über iTunes macht. Ist es nicht völlig unerheblich, ob ich die gewünschten Daten nun mit einem Programm wie iTunes oder einem Datei-Manager (Finder, Windows Explorer) auf das Gerät übertrage?

5. In the File Sharing section you can see a list of apps that support file sharing on your iPad. Click on an app and you will see a list of the documents for that app on your iPad
6. To copy a file from your computer to the iPad simply drag and drop it into the document list. Alternatively, click on the Add button at the bottom of the iTunes window and browse to the file on your computer and select it
7. The file will be copied to your iPad. It can only be viewed and edited from within the application it was copied to however

Das ist beim Androiden halt microUSB auf USB und Apple halt Lightning auf USB, entscheidend: am Ende ist es immer USB.
