Wallstreet und Panther ??? Geht da was?

Hallo,
nachdem die G3´s mit 10.3 doch etwas ordentlicher laufen, wollte ich -nur aus Neugier- Panther auf einem Powerbook Wallstreet installieren, aber offensichtlich hat Apple den Powerbooks ohne integrierte USB-Schnittstelle einen Riegel vorgeschoben.
Gibt´s da vielleicht eine softwareseitige Lösung?? Wer weiß mehr?

Panther untestützt keine Old-World-Macs mehr. Dazu gehört auch das Wallstreet. (Das hat nichts mit dem eingebauten USB zu tun, sondern mit der Firmware-Version).
Mit XPostfdacto wird es aber bald wieder gehen. Die aktuelle Alphaversion hat noch Probleme:

XPF now has initial support for Panther on the Wallstreet Powerbooks and the Beige G3. With the Beige G3, the main limitation at this time is that the built-in video is not working yet -- you need to use a video card. With the Wallstreet Powerbooks, there is a problem with video in some configurations, which can sometimes be solved by changing colour depth, or (one user reports) by removing the ATIRageProGA.plugin extension. Also, some users report that the Wallstreet Powerbooks aren't ejecting PC Cards properly in Panther.

Wäre außerdem sehr schön, wenn der doppelt vorhandene Thread dazu bei den iBooks/PowerBooks entfernt würde: https://www.macuser.de/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=21567

Sonst macht man sich nur die Arbeit den auch zu beanworten (wie ich) und merkt von diesem hier nichts.
