Tut sie doch, per DDNS, also z.B. domainname.myds.me:5001/carddav/username.
"Follow these steps:
1. Close the address book application on the Mac and delete all folders under user/library/Application Support/addressbook.
2. Restart the MAC once.
3. Open the address book application on the Mac, and then select Add account or other account from the address book menu. Select "advanced" under "account type", and then fill in: user name, password, server address (don't HTTPS://) and server path (/carddav/user). Click "register". The error message "unable to check user/Account" appears.
4. Then select "other account" in the "add account" menu, and select "manual" for the account type.
5. Now enter: user name, password and address (dyndns, e.g. my.syno: 12345/carddav/user) and click "login". (this link is also a link for IOS, not a carddav long link)
6. Keep waiting.
OK, done.
I don't know why. This method was seen from a German forum.
I set it up successfully on the MAC Monterey system."
