Hallo zusammen,

arbeite jetzt seit einiger Zeit auf allen meinen Geräten mit Spark und bin da auch sehr zufrieden. Bei MBP und Imac springt immer wieder die Anzeige auf, dass ich Programme schliessen soll da Systemspeicher ausgelastet ist. Da Spark hier eine Auslastung von von rund 110GB anzeigt vermute ich dies als Verursacher. Kennt jemand diese Problematik bzw. hat einen Lösungsansatz? (Systemkonfigurationen in Signatur)

Stell mal einen Screenshot von der Aktivitätsanzeige rein, auf dem Speicher-Tab mit Anzeige der Applikationen aller Benutzerkonten aktiviert.

Mache ich wenn es nächstesmal aufspringt. ist aber nur ein User eingerichtet
MacOS hat intern weitere System-Benutzerkonten, die du nicht siehst, aber über die essentielle Bestandteile des Betriebssystems laufen.

Sehe im Log nichts Besonderes, vermute du hast einfach zuwenig RAM, aber der Screenshot wenn es akut auftritt wird da helfen.

mit 16GB ? wenn die App über 100GB frisst, dann sicher :LOL: die Frage ist was dort falsch läuft, weil ein Mail-Client sollte wohl nicht unbedingt eine Maximalkonfiguration voraussetzen;)

Hi,
eventuell hilft ein Pram-Reset, mal diesen Ausfühen, aber 3x Gongen lassen, nur so wird der Pram komplett gelöscht.

stimmt, habe den Test am iMac laufen lassen der hat nur 8 GB
am MBP mit 16 GB ist die Situation aber gleich

und das sagt die Aktivitätsanzeige. für mich sieht es so aus als ob versucht werden würde sämtliche Ordner aller Accounts in den Systemspeicher hochzuladen. habe keine Ahnung wie ich das unterbinden kann

Bitte lass EtreCheck mit FullDiskAccess laufen, damit es alle Logs auswerten kann.
Anleitungen dazu findest du u.a. hier im Forum.

Ich finde die Aussage der Aktivitätsanzeige übrigens auch total verwirrend. Bei 16GB RAM müssten alleine die 30GB von Spark in den Swap laufen - tun sie aber nicht... Sorry, da bin ich überfragt. Ich kenne auch Spark nicht und weiss nicht, was es so anstellt....

Ich gehe mal davon aus, daß der Speicherbedarf beim Start von Spark normal ist und sich über die Zeit erhöht. Sowas nennt man Memory Leak. Hier kann nur der Developer der Anwendung Abhilfe schaffen. Du solltest dem also vielleicht mal ein Bugreport schicken. Ein sehr flüchtiges googlen bringt einem mehrere Treffer zum Memory Leaks, die Spark über die Jahre so hatte.

Na wenn es auf beiden Rechnern auftritt, scheint es ja ein Fehler in der Software zu sein.

Hi,
bei diesen Symptomen von Spark, ist das eindeutig ein Speicher Leck, da hilft nur, den Programmierer zu kontaktieren, und ihm die Probleme zu schildern.

Wow, du hast ja echt nicht gescherzt wie du von 30GB-Speicherauslastung geschrieben hast. Schreibst du zufällig Machine-Learning-Code? Wenn du deinen Code rekursiv aufrufst und alle Zustände speichern musst, dann brauchst du einfach deutlich mehr RAM, ich hab hier genau so einen Code der meine ganzen 128GiB frisst, und das nur weil ich es schon runtergeschraubt hab :D
