Hallo liebe Experten,

ich habe seit einigen Wochen das Problem, dass Safari, obwohl in der Suchleiste "google.de" steht bei einer Suche auf search.yahoo.com umschaltet. Alle Einstellungen sind soweit korrekt. Als Suchmaschine ist google eingestellt.
Des weiteren habe ich das Problem, dass sich nach einer gewissen Zeit Safari irgendwie "totläuft", eine Verbindung ins Netz mehr funktioniert. Erst wenn ich einen Neustart tätige funktioniert es wieder, aber auch nicht lange. Mittlerweile nutze ich fast nur noch Opera, aber hier entsteht so langsam das gleiche Problem. Mit dem Router ist aber alles in Ordnung. über iphone und ipad funktioniert WLAN einwandfrei. Ich habe mit vor einiger Zeit ein Programm geladen, weil ich eine Meldung bekam, dass ich mir einen Virus eingefangen hätte. Den habe ich aber inzwischen gelöscht. Hängt es damit zusammen.
Für Ratschläge wäre ich sehr dankbar.....

entweder mit hilfe etrecheck von hand entfernen oder die hilfe von malwarebytes anti-malware in anspruch nehmen.

Super, das ging ja rasch. Es war wirklich ein mühsamen Problem die letzten Wochen, weil die Internetverbindung ständig aussetzte.

Ich hatte auch das Problem, daß von google auf yahoo umgeschaltet wurde.
Außerdem sind zur selben Uhrzeit vor 3 Tagen fast alle Programme geändert worden.
Ich habe versucht mit etrecheck das Problem zu beheben; ob das mir endgültig gelungen ist, weiß ich nicht.

[Running] com.xyz.abc.Finder.plist (? 0 - installed 2019-06-04)

Runterschmeissen und gut ist. Ach ja, Flash und Silverlight wuerde ich gleich mit runterschmeissen. Beliebte Einfallstore fuer Malware und fuer normale Anwender so gut wie unnoetig. Flash wurde uebrigens von Adobe schon vor einiger Zeit abgekuendigt.
