Parallels Update Problem

Hallo,

ich ha das aktuelle update installiert, das mir Parallels automatisch anzeigt.

Leider läuft nun parallels nicht mehr.

Folgende Dinge treten auf:

Zunächst habe ich nun zwei .app in den Programmen im Ordner Paralles.

Einmal die Version 2.2. und einmal die neue 2.5

Wenn ich die Version 2.5 öffne kommt folgender Fehler:

Your trial activation key has expired. Please purchase a permanent activation key to continue using the product.

Wenn ich die Version 2.2 öffne kommt folgender Fehler:

Attention! The configuration file /Library/Parallels/.dhcpd_configuration, which contains network bridge options, was not found or is not accessible in the application's home directory /Library/Parallels/. Please login as root to run the parallels configuration program.

Dann klicke ich auf OK und dann starte ich die VM und folgende Info kommt:

The memory size specified (512 MB) exceeds the recommended maximum of 156 MB. This may downgrade virtual machine performance as well as the primary OS one. Do you want to continue?

Ich klicke yes und folgendes kommt:

Parallels Desktop is unable to operate properly since it cannot communicate with one of its drivers. Seems that drivers are inconsistent with the currently installed version of Parallels Desktop. To overcome this issue, reinstall Parallels Desktop and start it by selecting Finder->Applications->Parallels->Parallels

Das wars dann.

Wer kann mir helfen, damit ich die neue Version zum laufen bringe ?

Ist bei mir ähnlich. Beim starten der neueren Version habe ich aber kein Problem mit Paralles direkt, nur mit meinem Windows. Nach dem Bildschirm beim rauffahren mit dem Windows Symbol und dem laufenden Balken wird alles nur schwarz. Kennt jemand das Problem?

@Macrö: Na dann gib unter der 2.5 deinen Key ein und es sollte dann laufen. Die 2.2 kannst du löschen. Die brauchst du ja nicht mehr.

Und nur mal neugierig gefragt. Wieviel RAM hast du eingebaut (im Mac). Bei recommended maximum von 156 Mb hast du (rein theoretisch) nicht mehr als 512 MB drin?

Update Problem

Hallo

falls das Problem noch existiert mach doch folgendes (hat bei mir geklappt)
- aktiviere den root user
- rufe das Update programm auf und de-installiere parallels
- anschliessend das ganze wieder installieren
- parallels desktop ist das icon für das programm, das alte logo in den papierkorb (sofern es noch da ist)
- gastsystem aufrufen und geräte / tools erneut installieren

anschliessend sollte alles paletti sein..
