*.odt können unter snow-leo nicht mehr geöffnet werden.

dateityp nicht erkannt oder so heißt es dann. also kann ich zurzeit kein einziges textdokument öffnen. *.ods, sprich: "Excel-"Dateien gehen hingegen.

Abhilfe ante portas?

Womit wolltest du das denn öffnen?
Mit openoffice sollte es auf jedenfall gehen,da das ja selbst von sun kam, auch wenn durch die anerkennung als standard das jetzt auch vielleicht von apple programmen akzeptiert wird?

Keine ahnung, OOo.org sollte jedenfalls gehen
