Moin,
Ich habe eine Neuinstallation auf meinem MacBook Air gemacht, danach EtreCheck laufen lassen und es kam eine Fehlermeldung, das System sei zu langsam und es wäre ein Software Problem (soweit ich das verstanden habe). Da ich schon seit Tagen daran arbeite dieses Problem zu lösen, es aber nicht schaffe, frage ich hier einmal in die Runde.

Was ich bisher gemacht habe:
nach einer ersten, misslungenen Neuinstallation (mein Fehler, ich habe wohl nur die Volumen und nicht die ganze Platte gelöscht), habe ich heute einen neuen Versuch gestartet.
Zunächst habe ich Catalina auf eine externe mit APSF formatierten HDD installiert, auf dieser dann einen EtreCheck laufen lassen, und der Report sagt mir: alles Ok soweit (so ich es denn richtig verstehe). Danach das selbe Spiel mit der internen, und hier wieder die Warnung, das System sei zu langsam, ein Software Problem.
Auf beiden Platten ist aber nur das System, nichts Anderes. Wie kann es angehen, das hier ein unterschiedlicher EtreChek Report erstellt wird?

Catalina/APFS auf einer HDD ist das Problem, eine HDD bremst APFS gewaltig aus, und das erkennt Etrecheck, Catalina/APFS wurden für SSDs Optimiert.

Na ja, meine interne ist ja eine SSD, meine externe ist eine HDD.

Etrecheck hat halt die Gesamtperfomance angemeckert, da Spotlight noch das System durchforstet :).

Also wäre das Software Problem Spotlight? Dann müsste ich eigentlich nur warten, oder Spotlight abschalten, und das Problem wäre gelöst?
