Macbook Pro, Mid 2009, 8GB, 1 TB Hybrid-HD, Avast Virenschutz, Macs FanControl, sonst nur Standard-SW, OSX 10.11.6

Nach Einbau und Migration des Systems von der alten Platte braucht das Macbook Ewigkeiten zum Hochfahren, auch die normale Verarbeitung (Programm laden etc) ist langsam. Hat jemand ne Idee, wo das klemmt?

Von was für einer alten Platte auf was für eine wurde denn migriert? Doch hoffentlich nicht auf die Hybrid-HD?

Das ist auch unter Windows eine nutzlose Bremse.

Ich würde bei der Hybrid-HDD ansetzen. Gut möglich, dass diese langsam den Geist aufgibt.

Ich sehe keine HybridHD, sondern eine ganz normale Festplatte mit 5400 Umdrehungen, langsamer gehts kaum. SSD einbauen sollte Wunder wirken.

Von was für einer alten Platte auf was für eine wurde denn migriert? Doch hoffentlich nicht auf die Hybrid-HD?

Das heißt, Du hast noch Reste von Avast, Intego, CleanMyMac auf dem Rechner sowie der Spyware "DrCleaner".

Ich würde vermute, dass der Rechner deswegen so langsam ist.

Ich würde empfehlen, Dich angesichts dieser Altlasten nicht mehr mit Deinstallationen zu beschäftigen, sondern Dir einen El Capitan Bootstick zu erstellen und den Rechner komplett neu aufzusetzen.

Von Backups würde ich nur persönliche Daten (Dokumente, Fotos, Filme, Musik, Emails) migrieren und alle Programme neu installieren.

Ob diese Hybrid-Festplatte/SSHD von Toshiba aus dem Jahr 2015 sinnvoll ist, musst Du selbst entscheiden. 8 GB Pufferspeicher wären mir inzwischen zu wenig, selbst für einen so alten Rechner. Wenn es mein Rechner wäre, würde ich eine 1TB SSD einbauen, die es schon für 107 EUR gibt.

Wenn ich wirklich Geld sparen müsste, würde ich die zu kleine SSD als System-Festplatte einbauen und die HDD in den CD-Schacht. Hier ein Beispiel für einen Adapter. Es gibt auch günstigere. Auf die SSD kommt dann das System und die Programme, auf die HDD die großen Dateien (Filme, Fotos). Beide würde ich getrennt als einzelne Laufwerke halten. Aber das ist nur meine Meinung.

HD gegen eine SSD tauschen. Dann einen Cleaninstall vornehmen und nur die wirklich benötigte Software installieren. Wie @RostigerRoboter schon geschrieben hat, brauchst Du weder Antivirensoftware noch irgendwelche "Helferlein". Sind alle nur unnütz und bremsen deinen Rechner u.U. massiv aus, und machen ihn angreifbarer.

PS: Flash und Co. sind mittlerweile unnötiger Schrott.

Keine schlechte Idee! Allerdings gehört die SSD in das Adaptergehäuse des Laufwerks, allein wegen des Erschütterungsschutzes. Eine SSD ohne bewegliche Teile braucht den nicht. Und die SATA-Anschlüsse sind eh gleichwertig seit 2008 bei Apple.

Edit: Und wenn man regelmäßig eine Datensicherung macht, kann man die beiden Laufwerke auch zu einem FusionDrive zusammenfassen, dann ist es m.M.n. noch komfortabler.
