mail stürzt unter 10.4.2. plötzlich ab.

hallo,

habe ein problem auf einem ibook g3 600 mhz. habe dort tiger 10.4.2 installiert. seit heute stürzt das mailprogramm nach dem öffnen sofort ab und ich bekomme folgende meldung (gekürzt, weil sonst zuviel für hier). was kann ich machen? danke

Installier mal den 10.4.2 Combo, falls du das nicht getan hast.
Repariere die Rechte.
Deinstalliere probeweise mal alle PlugIns von Mail, falls du welche installiert hattest.

habe ich auch gerade gemacht. hat leider nix geholfen.


um genau zu sein, es funktionierte so lange bis ich den account dann wieder eingerichtet habe. dann stürzte es erneut ab.


JETZT KLAPPT ES. HABE ES MIT EINEM POP SERVER EINGERICHTET UND ZACK! FUNKTIONIERT ES. SCHEINT ZUMINDEST SO.

jetzt klappt es, aber irgendwie akzeptiert das richtige kennwort nicht.

Seit OS X 10.4 kann ich mein Mail nur benutzen, wenn ich meinen web.de IMAP Account weglasse!

Du könntest mir Ethereal oder einem ähnlichen Programm mal nachsehen, ob er das PW richtig überträgt (wenn die Verbinung nicht verschlüsselt ist)
- hatte ich heute mit the missing Sync, der mein Passwort falsch weitergegeben hatte, da ich ein Sonderzeichen im Passwort und damit Kauderwelsch nach der Verschlüsselung hatte
