Das steht da so weil man Lion nur über den App Store laden konnte. Es gab davon keine Installations DVD.

Für Geeks sicher eine Alternative (hab mir QEMU vor vielen Jahren auch mal angeschaut, in der OS-X-Variante, und dann doch lieber Parallels erworben, für einen recht kurzfristigen aber notwendigen Windows-98-Einsatz für ein einzelnes Programm).

Aber ich denke, wenn der TE ein Geek wäre, würde er/sie nicht hier um Rat fragen sondern in einem Linux-Forum.

Sorry, ich habe als verwöhnter Macer das "virt-manager" als Verweis auf eine Virtuelle Maschine gelesen. Nicht als Hinweis auf ein bestimmtes Programm.

Das hast du falsch verstanden. Paravirtualisierung ist etwas anderes.
Außerdem steht da, dass VirtualBox ein Interface für die Paravirtualisierung zu KVM bietet und nicht dass VirtualBox KVM von Linux nutzt.
Direkt drunter steht ja auch was Hyper-V. Heißt das für dich, dass VirtualBox auch Hyper-V auf Windows nutzt?

Es ist falsch! VirtualBox nutzt nicht KVM unter Linux.
