Ich habe ein MacBook pro early 2011. RAM habe ich auf 16GB aufgerüstet und eine 500GB SSD eingebaut. Seit ca. einem halben Jahr ist dauernd der Akku leer. Also habe ich ihn ersetzen lassen. Nach kurzer Zeit war es wieder so, dass der Akku nur ca. 2h hielt. Der Akku wurde auf Garantie ersetzt, aber auch mit dem neuen Akku schafft das MacBook gerade mal 2h ohne Ladegerät.
Ich habe mit der Aktivitätsanzeige geschaut, ob ich speziell stromfressende Apps benutze. Dem ist nicht so. Selbst wenn ich alle Apps schliesse, nur Safari und Findet geöffnet habe, verbraucht das MacBook mehr als 3000mA, lüftet dauernd wieder stark und erreicht so eben gerade mal ca. 2h Laufzeit.
Ich glaube eigentlich nicht, dass Finder und Safari einen derart hohen Stromverbrauch haben. Da muss irgendetwas anderes laufen, was ich über die Aktivitätsanzeige nicht sehen kann.

Hat jemand eine Idee, wie ich dem Stromfresser auf die Schliche kommen könnte?

Die Aktivitätsanzeige zeigt jeden laufenden Prozess.
Drehen die Lüfter hoch hat das ziemlich oft auch andere Ursachen als ein Amok laufender Prozess / ein Programm.

Ein sicherer Systemstart mit späterem normalen Neustart so wie einen SMC-Reset ist relativ einfach auszuführen.

Nutzt das nichts würde ich dann den Apple Hardwaretest bemühen. (Und nicht den Schnelltest verwenden)
Findet dieser etwas, den Fehlercode hier posten.
 
Vielen Dank für eure Hilfe. Ich habe jetzt EtreCheck benutzt und damit einige alte Threads gefunden, die im Hintergrund liefen. Diese habe ich schon mal entfernt und jetzt gibt mir das MacBook Pro noch ungefähr den halben Stromverbrauch an.
Gerne lege ich aber das Protokoll von EtreCheck bei. Vielleicht fällt ja noch etwas auf, das ich nicht bemerkt habe.

So lang nichts angemeckert ist, sollte es gut sein.

TextWrangler, MS-Office, den Adobe-Kram, TeamViewer wirst du ja nicht löschen wollen.
Für was du SIMBL brauchst leuchtet mir nicht so ganz ein, das frisst aber auch kein Brot.
