Hallo zusammen!
Ich habe einen ca. 2 1/2 Jahre alten Alu imac der ersten Generation.
Vor ca. 4 Wochen hat sich mein superdrive verabschiedet, was wohl bei imacs diesen Alters regelmäßig vorkommen soll.
Kurze Zeit später - das superdrive wurde zwischendurch plötzlich mal wieder angezeigt - bekam der Rechner regelmäßig Kernel panics, die nach ca. 1 h Betrieb auftreten und dann nach sofortigen Neustarts sofort wieder auftreten. Wenn der Rechner einige Zeit aus war, läuft er nach Neustart wieder ca. 1 h.
Woran mag das liegen, am defekten superdive, oder hat das was mit Temperatur zu tun?
Ich könnte auch einen Fehlerbericht einstellen.
Wer weiß Rat?

Vielleicht gibt ein Hardwaretest nähere Auskunft, aber ich denke um einen Weg zum Support wirst du nicht herum kommen.
 
Sieht nach einem Hardware-Problem aus. Würde dir auch empfehlen, den iMac deinem Apfelhändler deines Vertrauens zu bringen. Es sei denn, du bist ein Bastler, hast keine Garantie mehr / willst kein Geld ausgeben...

Danke für die Antwort, nein hardware test ist noch nicht gelaufen, wie mach ich das am besten, mit ner software oder mit der Installations DVD?
CPU wäre übel, lohnt sich dann eine Reperatur überhaupt?
 
guck mal auf die grauen DVDs, die dabei waren. eine hat AHT oder hardware test drauf stehen.
die rein und beim starten D drücken...
 
@TE: Hast du das mal gemacht?

Mein MacbookPro hat auch ständig Kernel Panics. Der Service Provider in meiner Nähe hatte das Gerät übers Wochenende und hat keine Fehler gefunden. Der Test ist wohl 24h durchgelaufen.
Ich hab ein clean install gemacht, und die Panics treten unregelmäßig leider immer noch auf.
