Festplattenaktivität trotz keinem offenen Programm

Hi, ich habe seit kurzem (weiß nicht genau wie lange schon, mir viel es erst vor 2 Tagen auf) ununterbrochen einen Festplattenzugriff.
Ich habe bereits alle Programme geschlossen, trotzdem habe ich weiterhin alle 4 Sekunden einen Schreibzugriff mit der Menge 662kb.
Neustart hat nichts gebracht. System ist 10.4.7.
Wie kann ich herausfinden, von welchem Programm oder Prozess der Schreibvorgang kommt, und was da genau geschrieben wird?

Schon mal in die Aktivitäten-Anzeige geschaut?
 
Aus der Aktivitätsanzeige habe ich ja die Daten der Festplattenzugriffe. Ich habe jetzt alle meine Prozesse beendet, bis auf SystemUIServer, ATSServer, mdimport, Dock, und natürlich der Aktivitätsanzeige selber, um es zu überprüfen. Die Schreibzugriffe bleiben erhalten. Müsste also wohl ein Admin Prozess sein, oder?

Leider zeigt mit die Aktivitätsanzeige nur die Prozessorlast der einzelnen Programme an, nicht aber die Fesplattenzugriffe.

Wie gesagt, sie sind regelmäßig (alle 4 Sekunden), und immer gleich groß (662kb).
 
Mir ist auch gerade eine permanente Festplattenaktivität aufgefallen, keine Ahnung, ob die immer da ist.
Jedenfalls wird regelmäßig nahezu jede Sekunde genau 898 KB auf die Platte geschrieben. Kennt jemand eine Möglichkeit, wie man rausfinden kann, welcher Prozess das ist? Ich bin ja schon ein wenig neugierig ;)
Übrigens ist gleichzeitg kein oder fast kein Netzwerkverkehr, das kann es also nicht sein.
 
soweit ich weis ist das doch bei unix-systemen so üblich das da die ganze zeit festplattenaktivität vorhanden ist
 
Dennoch interessiert mich, was da welche Daten und weshalb schreibt. Ich hatte nämlich gedacht, dass alles, was aktuell so passiert, über den RAM abgewickelt wird. Ja, es gibt Auslagerungsdateien, aber a) hab ich keine Seitenauslagerungen und b) ist noch genug RAM frei.

Gibt es keine Möglichkeit, kein Tool, das anzeigen kann, welches Programm gerade auf die Platte schreibt?
 
...ich hole mal die Leiche aus dem Keller, ich habe einen Mini c2d mit 10.8.5, alle Updates gemacht. Seit einiger Zeit ist mir der ständige Festplattenzugriff auch aufgefallen. Ram ist 8 GB verbaut, keine Prozesse mit Fenstern laufen... was kann das sein? Siehe Screenshot anbei:

Nun, auch im laufenden Betrieb erfolgen ständig Festplattenzugriffe. Selbst beim simplen Surfen werden z.B. temporäre Dateien auf der Festplatte abgelegt. Prozesse, die z.B. Daten aus dem Internet abrufen, Programme, die prüfen, ob das überhaupt erlaubt ist, usw.
Da müsste der Rechner schon aus sein, damit wirklich kein Festplattenzugriff mehr erfolgt.
 
...hmm... aber muss dass denn die ganze Zeit sein? In den letzten 22 Minuten hat die Kiste jetzt schon 10.000 Schreibzugriffe mehr und fast 200 MB an Daten geschrieben... da kann doch was nicht stimmen....
 
Schau doch nach, was für Prozesse laufen und viel ist das nicht, meine Rechner schreiben oftmals mehr, interessiert mich aber nicht die Bohne, solange alles läuft.
( ansonsten, werden Logs geschrieben, Indexe erstellt, eventuell aufgeräumt, und der Rechner und seine Dienste wollen ja auch etwas tun usw. Usw.)

Die Frage ist jetzt, was laufen da denn alles so für Prozesse? Dazu einfach mal z.B. in die Anmeldeobjekte sehen und sich in der Aktivitätsanzeige alle Prozesse einblenden lassen.
Hast Du TM konfiguriert?
 
- TM verwende ich nicht, ich nutze SuperDuper für komplette Backups und ChronoSync für zwischen Backups von Fotos und Musik auf Platten welche an meinem Western Digital Live Player angeschlossen sind
- alle Prozesse ist ellenlang!

bei der, sagen wir mal wohlausgesuchten Auswahl an Diensten, die du installiert hast, würde ich mal ins Log schauen, ob dort ein Prozess eventuell Amok läuft.
Programme/Dienstprogramme/Konsole, dort Alle Meldungen anschauen, ob es verdächtige Einträge gibt.

Alleine die oben zitierten Prozesse greifen auf die Festplatte zu. Das ist aber auch bei einigen für den Betrieb nötig. Manche dagegen könnte man auch abschalten.
Du hast z.B. das Dashboard offen. Wenn da jetzt z.B. (und bitte: nur als Beispiel) ein Widget läuft, welches für Umrechnungen periodisch die Währungseinheiten aktualisiert, dann müssen die ja auch auf der Festplatte abgelegt werden.
Programme, wie bspw. Firefox suchen im Hintergrund nach Updates. Es werden Log-Dateien geschrieben.
Und diesen "ominösen" Powerboxinjektor kannst Du gleich mal ganz aus den Anmeldeobjekten entfernen. Der scheint wohl gar nicht mehr installiert zu sein. Das führt übrigens dazu, dass das BS versucht, ihn laufend neu zu starten, das funktioniert dann nicht (weil das Programm ja selber nicht mehr da ist) und schon werden wieder Log-Einträge geschrieben. Sieh mal rein in Deine Konsole.
 
...ahhh... die Konsole sagt ständig "Unable to load nib file..." siehe anbei:

Dann logge Dich mal unter einem anderen Benutzer ein (und aus deinem Account aus) und sieh mal nach, ob diese Meldungen dann auch noch kommen. Dann weiss man nämlich schon in etwa, wo man den "Störenfried" suchen muss.
 
@eMac_man: bin jetzt als nackiger Admin drin, der Spuk ist vorbei, Platte ruhig, kein geticke... Konsole sagt zwar immer noch die Meldung, aber die Platte tickt nicht mehr... komisch...
