Hallo zusammen,

ich habe mir ein neues MacBook Air M1 gekauft und es hat einen seltsamen Displayfehler:
Ganz unten links auf dem Monitor leuchtet ein Pixel weiß, egal welchen Desktophintergrund ich einstelle.
Der Pixel lautet aber nur weiß, wenn kein Fenster diesen Bereich abdeckt. Wird eine Anwendung in Vollbild ausgeführt oder ein Fenster in de Ecke geschoben, dann verhält sich der Pixel wie er soll. Nach einem Neustart ist der Pixel auch unauffällig, nach etwa 5 - 10 min kommt er wieder zum Vorschein.
Ich habe einen SMC Reset durchgeführt und MacOS Neu installiert. Habt ihr noch eine Idee was ich probieren kann?

Wie gesagt, der Pixel leuchtet nur auf dem Desktophintergrund, auf einem Screenshot ist er nicht sichtbar.

Habt ihr noch eine Idee was ich versuche kann um das Problem zu beheben?

Wenn es ein Hardware-Pixelfehler ist, wonach es aussieht, kannst du nichts machen. Du kannst nur damit leben, oder das MacBook zurückgeben.

So etwas habe ich bisher noch nie gesehen.
 
Oke, das ist ja nicht nur ein Pixel. Es schein auch viel eher von der Software zu kommen. Hast du mal eine andere Auflösung / Skalierung eingestellt, ob das etwas bewirkt?
 
Ich hatte die Standard-Auflösung gewählt. Bei andere Auflösungen wird der helle Bereich ebenfalls skaliert :eek:

Naja gut, dann ist es irgendwas softwaremäßiges. Was hast du denn so drauf auf dem Teil?
 
Hast du mal einen neuen Benutzer erstellt? Taucht das Problem dort auch auf?
 
Danke für eure Ideen. Ich habe keine seltsame oder ungewöhnliche Software installiert.
Bei diesem Mac habe ich auch kein Backup meines alten Rechners übernommen.
Beim Wechsel auf einen zweiten Benutzer ist der Pixel wieder brav, ich teste mal wie lange das so bleibt.
Nach dem SMC-Reset war fast einen Tag lang Ruhe.

Es gibt auch den Trick ganz wildes Bildschirmflimmern mit Farbwechsel einzufügen, dann kommen die irgendwann wieder.
Leichtes massieren des Bildschirms half früher auch immer mal.

Edit: das sind aber keine Pixelfehler... Und du hat es ja auch schon gelöst. :)

Ich meine es ist ziemlich eindeutig kein (Hardware)Pixelfehler, sondern eine Softwareproblem.
 
Also in dem Video sieht es aber nach einem SW-Problem aus. Deswegen könnte es bei einem neuen User eben nicht zu diesem Phänomen kommen ... also scheint da irgendwas installiert zu sein, welches das Problem hervorruft. Ich würde auch einfach mal den Hintergrund ändern. Viel Erfolg.

Das Video hast du dir nicht angesehen? Das ist kein "dead pixel". Da funkt irgendeine Software dazwischen. Ich hatte evtl. "aktive Ecken" vermutet, aber die machen eigentlich nicht so einen Punkt. Sind wir mal gespannt, welche SW es dann letztendlich verschuldet haben wird :)
 
Danke erneut für eure Ideen. Die Bedienungshilfen sind alle aus, den Hintergrund habe ich schon x mal geändert, das bringt leider nichts.

Dann musste ich auch erst noch ein paar Passwörter an der Synology ausprobieren. ;)

Ist für mich auch eindeutig ein Softwarefehler. Könnte auch ein hängender Mauscursor oder sowas sein.

Danke für den Hinweis, die gleiche Idee hatte ich auch beim Lesen des Reports.
Deinstallieren von BetterSnapTool hat keine Änderung gebracht.
Nach dem Neustart ist der Pixel erst einmal wieder normal. Ich beobachte das jetzt und melde mich wieder.
