Hallo zusammen,
gestern habe ich das Update auf Version 1.8.3 von Elgato eyetv installiert.
Seither habe ich das Problem, dass ich über die Funktion "tvtv jetzt abfragen" keine in tvtv zur Aufnahme gekennzeichneten Sendungen in den eyetv Client geladen bekomme. Es kommt die Fehlermeldung "Der Verbindungsaufbau mit dem tvtv-Dienst hat das Zeitlimit überschritten".
Hat jemand eine Idee, außer den eyeTV Helper zu entfernen lt. Supportmeldung von elgato (s.u.)?
Oder gibt es momentan evtl. generellen Trouble mit tvtv?

It's possible that TVTV is very busy, since there are more EyeTV users than ever. Try again in a few hours.
You can also remove and reinstall a small program called EyeTV Helper, which is involved in detecting EyeTV on the FireWire bus. Do a search for that program. Then, start the Process Viewer (or the Activity Monitor in 10.3), and find EyeTV Helper. Quit it. Then, erase EyeTV Helper from your hard drive. Start EyeTV and it will be reinstalled.
Let me know if that helps - the Helper is involved in TVTV support.

Hello,
since updating to EyeTV 1.8.3 I have trouble to query recorded broadcasts. I'm using tvtv.de as EPG. Accessing the EPG (personalized) is trouble free. Message is "Der Verbindungsaufbau mit dem tvtv-Dienst hat das Zeitlimit überschritten" ("Connection to tvtv service failed due to timeout"). I don't think that there's a general problem, accessing the tvtv.de website is trouble free, changing my account information in the EyeTV programm settings leads to access failure (thus I suppose that my acct infos are trouble free after upgrading).
Your help is being appreciated!
