Externe USB-Platte wird als interne gemountet

Hallo,

nach einem Upgrade von Mavericks auf El capitan habe ich ein seltsames Phänomen:

Ich besitze eine 1 TB USB-3.0-Platte, die in viele Partitionen geteilt ist. Wenn ich sie an menen iMac anschließe, wird sie nicht in der üblichen Weise als externes Volume, das auswerfbar ist, angezeigt (mit gelbem Icon), sondern als interne Festplatte (mit silbernem Icon). Das hat den Nachteil, dass ich die vielen Partitionen nicht mehr über CMD-E auf eine Partition auswerfen kann, sondern jede Einzaln auswerfen muss, um die Festplatte ordentlich abzumelden. Auch im Festplattendienstprigramm wird die HD als internes Laufwerk angezeit. An meinen MacBook Air (OS 10.10) ist alles ganz normal. Hat jemand so was schon mal gehört und weiß Rat?

Hatte nie den Fall, mag aber evtl. daran liegen das es eine Platte mit Apple Firmware ist?
 
Bin gespannt, wie das passiert ist. Dieses Feature hätte ich gerne für externe USB- und Thunderbolt-SSDs.
 
Was spuckt denn das Terminal aus, wenn du diskutil list und diskutil info benutzt?
Das ist meistens informativer als die neueren FPDP-Versionen.


Edit: am besten sowohl am 10.10-Mac wie am 10.11-Mac.
