com.apple.WebKit.WebContent 100% CPU-Last ohne geöffnete Software

Hi zusammen,

habe gerade ein kleines Problem. In unregelmäßigen Abständen merke ich, dass mein neues MacBook ungewöhnlich heiß wird. In der Aktivitätsanzeige ist der Übeltäter auch sofort auszumachen: com.apple.WebKit.WebContent steht dann nämlich bei 100% CPU-Last und bleibt das auch auf ewig wenn man es nicht manuell beendet. Dabei gibt es dann aber auch keine Fehlermeldung und der Mac arbeitet für die nächsten Stunden erstmal wieder normal.

Zuerst dachte ich an Safari, aber selbst wenn ich Safari komplett beende bleibt die Auslastung gleich. Mail usw. hatte ich auch alle geschlossen, ohne Erfolg. Etrecheck hänge ich ran, hat jemand eine Idee außer OS neu installieren?

Es gibt auch andere Software, die auf WebKit zugreift. Zum Beispiel wenn Browser integriert sind. Diese WhatsApp-Software könnte es auch sein, da sie wahrscheinlich ja ohnehin nur auf WhatsApp Web zugreift.

Das hatte ich zwar gelesen, aber an WhatsApp z.B. noch gar nicht gedacht. Werde ich mal prüfen, wenn es das nächste mal auftritt. Aber seltsam finde ich eben, dass nach dem Zwangs-Beenden des Prozesses trotzdem alles normal weiterläuft, auch WhatsApp. Gibt es denn irgendeine Möglichkeit herauszufinden, welche Software WebKit in dem Moment nutzt?
