Nabend Leute.
Ich habe uns einen neuen Medienplayer, geholt der unseren 10 Jahre alten Fantec 2700 auf Grund von einer sehr langsamen Netzwerk Geschwindigkeit abgelöst hat. Ich lade mit dem Programm Mediathek View Sendungen herunter und schauen uns diese später an.
Die einzelnen Tracks sind zwischen 1 & 2 GB gross. Ich habe vorher alle Filme auf unserer Timecapsule gesichert und habe sie dann heute wieder zurück kopiert. Dabei war der Mac mini sehr stark eingeschränkt. Ich konnte keine Webseite in Safari mehr aufmachen, wenn ich Home geöffnet habe, haben sich die Symbole ganz langsam geöffnet.
Die Netzwerkgeschwindigkeit lag zwischen 30 und 80 MB/s (ich hoffe ich habe es richtig geschrieben), die Prozessorlast lag im gesamten bei ca. 20% und die Temperatur bei 40°C.
Nach einer gewissen Zeit, hat er sich dann aufgehängt und neu gestartet, aber ohne Gong und es kam die Meldung, „der PC wurde auf Grund eines Fehlers neu gestartet„.
Was hat so einen leistungsstarken Mac auf die Knie gezwungen ??
 
Ist der M1 aus Deiner Signatur der betroffene?
 
Was stand im Fehler Log?
 
Den kann man in dem Fenster „Der Computer wurde aufgrund…“ Aufrufen.
Sollte aber noch in der Konsole abrufbar sein.

Was hat CleanMyDrive auf dem Gerät verloren?

zu 1 Die hatte ich mir mal drauf gemacht, weil immer diese ._ Dateien auf den USB Sticks waren, die haue ich runter
zu 2 Kann ich nicht genau sagen, ich brauche sie aber nicht oft, wenn sie schlecht ist, haue ich sie auch runter
 
Was erwartest du? Da ist Big Sur drauf. Das macht Kernel Panics bei Last. Das ist so normal.

(Entschuldige meinem Sarkasmus, aber die Kernel Panics bei Last in Eclipse waren endgültig der Grund, warum ich Big Sur vorerst aufgegeben habe und bei High Sierra geblieben bin. Das läuft wenigstens stabil. Aber High Sierra als Alternative geht bei dir nicht.)

Wirklich lösen kann das Problem nur Apple. Da muss ein fehlerkorrigiertes Betriebssystem her.

Du kannst versuchen, die Last zu reduzieren, in der Hoffnung, dass es dann funktioniert. Z. B. Tracks nur einzeln kopieren (nicht alle auf einmal) und in der Zeit nichts anders mit dem Mac machen.

Das geht auch im Terminal mit

dann brauchst du CleanMyDrive nicht.

Ich habe zwar nicht viel verstanden, was du mir da erklären wolltest, doch Panik bei Last, kann ich gerade nicht bestätigen, ich habe mal aus Spass ein 3 Stunden Video in iMovie geladen, rendere es gerade, während ich hier schreibe und die Last der letzten 4 Kerne liegen, laut des Programmes System Monitor bei 99% die ersten 4 bei rund 60% und die CPU Temperatur bei 67°C.
Ich kann weiterhin alle Programme öffnen, der kleine muckt nicht ein bisschen.

Vermutlich ist es nicht die Prozessorlast alleine, die zur Kernel Panic führt, sondern es sind noch andere Bedingungen nötig, z. B. sehr viele Netzwerkzugriffe. Du hast geschrieben, der Mac war stark eingeschränkt, als es passiert ist, und bei meine Kernel Panics hat Eclipse das System fast bis zur Unbedienbarkeit verlangsamt. Bei Big Sur gab es den Absturz mit Kernel Panic, unter High Sierra wurde es nur sehr langsam, dann konnte ich Eclipse beenden und alles war wieder in Ordnung.

Geholfen hat bei mir eine Einstellung in Eclipse, die die starke Last verhindert hat. Das ist natürlich nicht die Lösung für dich. Du kannst versuchen, deine Tracks zu kopieren, wenn kein anderes Programm läuft. Vielleicht ist es bei dir die Wechselwirkung zwischen zwei Programmen, die dazu führt, das der Mac so ins Schwitzen kommt. Wirklich beheben kann das Problem nur Apple, du kannst nur versuchen, es zu umgehen.
