X11 läuft nach Security Update 2011-004 nicht mehr

Hallo,

Ich benutze einen eMac G4 mit Leopard 10.5.8 und habe gerade das Security-Update 2011-004, das Java Update 10 für Leopard und das Airportprogramm Update eingespielt.

Seit dem einspielen der Updates kann ich X11 von http://xquartz.macosforge.org/trac/wiki nicht mehr starten. X11 stürzt sofort ab. Von X11 habe ich die neueste Version die noch Leopard PPC tauglich ist installiert.

Eine erneute installation von X11 habe ich schon vorgenommen, leider hat das keine Änderung gebracht. Ich bin leider auf X11 angewiesen um Inkscape nutzen zu können. Zum Glück habe ich das Update erst heute gemacht, wo ich meine Bachelor-Thesis gerade fertig gestellt habe und nicht schon vor Wochen...

Ich wäre sehr dankbar für hilfreiche Tipps. Ich muß noch Grafiken für einen Vortrag erstellen. Langsam verzweifele ich hier.

It is suggested that you install the latest XQuartz release after installing an update to OS-X Leopard."

Evtl. hilft's, die aktuelle XQuartz Version 2.6.2 einzuspielen!

You will need to re-install this package after future OS, and Security Updates delivered through Apple's Software Update. Additionally, you should reinstall this package after installing XCode.

Eine Neuinstallation hatte ich auch schon durchgeführt.

Ich meinte den Reinstall von Version 2.6.2 ... Du bist anscheinend bei 2.6.1 ...

2.6.2 läuft ja leider nur noch unter Snow Leopard. Da ich einen PPC habe bin ich auf 2.6.1 angewiesen.

Hast Du ne Möglichkeit, ein Backup einzuspielen?

Ansonsten wird Dir keine andere Möglichkeit bleiben, als alles zu sichern und komplett neu Leopard zu installieren - und verhindern, dass er das besagte Security-Update zieht!

Das Problem hat sich soeben erledigt. Ich habe X11 mit allem was dazugehört gelöscht und erneut installiert, jetzt scheint es wieder zu laufen.
