Safari stürzt dauernd ab....

Hallo,

ich habe Safari Version 2.0.3 (417.8) und Mac OSx 10.4.4
Safari wird sehr oft "unerwartet" beendet. Es gibt keine Auffälligkeit bei bestimmten Webseiten, es tritt bei unterschiedlichsten Seiten auf.

Die Häufigkeit der Abstürze nimmt zu und langsam nervt es richtig.

Gibt es irgendetwas was man tun kann ausser Firefox, Opera etc.?
 
du koenntest mal die Datei com.apple.safari.plist aus dem Verzeichnis ~/Library/Preferences wegwerfen. Das ~ steht fuer dein home Verzeichnis. Wenn beim naechsten Start von Safarie diese Datei nicht vorhanden ist wird sie neu erzeugt. In ihr stehen Voreinstellungen die, wenn sie korrupt ist, zu Abstuerzen fuehren kann.
 
hast du irgendeine safari erweiterung wie pith helmet installiert?
die sorgen gerne für abstürze nach os updates...
 
Das hatte ich vor kurzem auch ein paar Tage lang aber Safari 1.3.2 und OS 10.3.9.

Jetzt ist es wieder vorbei.
 
Ich werde erstmal testen was lundehundt vorschlägt. Pith helmet habe ich auch, stimmt... mal eins nach dem anderen testen.
 
Bei mir stürzt Safari seit neustem auch ab...

Hab gerade mal den Tipp mit Datei löschen probiert, hat leider nichts gebracht. Bei mir stürzt Safari immer ab wenn ich mich bei Gmail anmelde oder bei der Sparkasse :( Hab OS X 10.4.4. Ich kann mich leider nur nicht genau erinnern wann das Problem auftrat. Hab schon mit Cocktail alles gesäubert, aber geht nicht. Mit Firefox oder Camino hab ich diese Probs nicht :(
Muss ich jetzt etwa wie aus Windoof Zeiten mein Mac OS neu installieren?
 
hast du zufällig firefox 1.5 installiert?

denk mal nach ob du bevor die abstürze aufgetreten sind was installiert hast.

ist das nur bei safari so oder bei anderen browsern auch so?

Seit ich das File gelöscht habe, ist Safari nicht mehr abgestürzt.
 
hab genau das gleiche problem:

wollte safarie cookies installieren und im anschluss an die installation geht nichts mehr. safari startet zwar, aber nach einer sekunde stürzt safari ab. ich brauche safarie dringend weil ich wichtige bookmarks drin hab.
