Maus Zeiger ist "nervös"

Liebe Community,

ich habe seit über einem Jahr ein sehr nerviges Problem mit dem iMac. Zahlreiche Calls mit dem Apple Support und deren "Vorgesetztenabteilung" sowie vor Ort beim Gravis Service konnten mir zwar grundsätzlich bestätigen, dass ich mir den Fehler nicht einbilde, aber das Problem nicht lösen.

Kurzbeschreibung ist, dass der Mauszeiger "nervös" ist, also beispielsweise immer dann wenn der Zeiger zur Hand werden soll (bei Hyperlinks" springt er so nervös von Zeiger zu Hand, dass es als ein störendes Blinken erscheint. Wenn ich in Word über Text scrolle, der kursiv oder markiert ist, fängt die Maus an wild zu blinken, statt ruhig die Cursoranzeige zu wechseln. Manchmal bleibt die Maus auch als Hand oder als Cursor, wenn sie eigentlich wieder zum Zeiger werden sollte. Das hat zur Folge, dass ich meistens immer erstmal irgendwo hinklicken muss oder sie bewegen muss, um dann etwas anklicken zu können.

Ich kann bei Bedarf mal noch ein Video anhängen, aber vielleicht kennt jemand ähnl. Probleme?

Ich habe bereits mehrfach das OS neu aufgespielt. Einmal hat es geholfen, dann kam der Fehler wieder. Beim zweiten Mal war der Fehler von Anfang an nach dem Zurücksetzen da.Ich habe dann einmal die Festplatte komplett gelöscht und das alte iOS aufgespielt, mit dem der iMac ausgeliefert wurde (Ventura). Da trat der Fehler zunächst nicht auf und ich hatte eine Zeit lang Ruhe. Gravis meinte, es liege deshalb am neuen iOS Update, aber dann müsste das ja bekannt sein. Außerdem kam das Problem nach ca. 3 Wochen wieder. Habe beim Aufspielen der Software, die ich sonst noch benutze eine Liste geführt. Irgendwann trat das Problem dann wieder auf, ohne, dass ich was neues installiert hatte. Zuletzt so stark, dass der Mac manchmal richtig zickig wird, auf manches Klicken nicht reagiert.

iMac 27", 2020
nutze Magic Mouse und eine andere Logitech Bluetooth Maus. Fehler tritt auch bei Kabel-Maus auf.

Freue mich über evtl. Hilfestellung. Mir ist klar, dass es ein Software Fehler sein muss, aber das macht die Suche ja nicht einfacher.

So seltsam sieht das jetzt alles nicht aus – ausser die High CPU Use teilweise.
Kann jetzt aber auch vom Neu-Install kommen, dass Photos.app und Siri (wenn aktiviert) da arbeiten.
Und Spotlight werkelt sicher auch noch einige Zeit.

Was ist eigentlich Google Chrome.app "Hang" .. Sorry. Das habe ich so noch nie gesehen.
(Davon abgesehen das es der Chrome Browser ist)

Zudem bin ich der Meinung das dieser Browser, weiter oben im Protokoll, einen ganz deftigen Speicherverbrauch hat für das das er vermutlich zum
Zeitpunkt der Protokoll nichts gemacht hat ausser durch Anwesenheit zu glänzen.

Wenn du third party Systemerweiterungen testweise ausschliessen willst, würde ich den Mac im sicheren Modus starten. (SafeBoot)
Dann sieht man auch ob der Mauszeiger wegen irgend einer Software tänzelt oder ob das generell ein anderes Problem sein könnte.

Zu dem werden dabei die Caches gelöscht, das Filesystem überprüft und damit auch keine Fehler ausgebügelt.
Später den Mac einfach erneut noch mal neu starten.

Zumindest hätte ich das versucht bevor ich x-mal das macOS neu installiert hätte, was jedesmal locker 45 Minuten dauert.

Auf dem System sind lt. dem Protokoll noch 15 MB Arbeitsspeicher frei. Das wäre wenn das stimmt verdammt wenig.
Bei dem geringen freien Speicher läuft sicherlich bereits auch das Auslagern von Speicherbereichen auf die vorhandene SSD oder sonst wohin.

Das war schonmal sehr hilfreich für mich!

Alternativ lasse dem iMac mal über Nacht einfach an, damit das System sich „abarbeiten“ kann.

Ich habe den Mac die ganze Nacht über angelassen. Sollte ich jetzt nochmal einen Report mit EtreCheck machen?

einmal unter einem anderen Benutzer-Account prüfen, ob das Problem dort auch besteht.

Ich habe einen zusätzlichen Test-Benutzeraccount erstellt. Unter diesem besteht das Problem wie gehabt.

Wenn du third party Systemerweiterungen testweise ausschliessen willst, würde ich den Mac im sicheren Modus starten. (SafeBoot)

Habe dann den Mac im sicheren Modus gestartet. Sofort fällt auf, dass schon alleine die Zeigerbewegungen viel reaktiver sind (flüssiger). Abgesehen davon, dass alles sehr lange dauert (bspw. ein Word Doc zu öffnen - aber das ist wohl normal im sicheren Modus?), tänzelt der Zeiger im abgesicherten Modus nicht. Wie gesagt, hier ist aber auch alles langsamer -- ich hoffe, dass es nicht einfach nur an der gewissen Trägheit liegt.

Was ist eine Erweiterung? Also es müsste ja eine Software sein im OS oder vermutest du eines der zusätzlich installierten Programme/Fremdsoftware?

Rufe mal die Systemeinstellungen auf und gib dort in der Sucher „Erweiterung“ ein. Dann sieh Dir dort in Ruhe und aufmerksam alle verfügbaren Einträge an. Auch Programme installieren hin und wieder Erweiterungen (z.B. Finder-Erweiterungen), die dann systemweit arbeiten.

Ok, EtreCheck und Whatsapp waren ohnehin deaktiviert.

In Anmeldeobjekten unter "Bei der Anmeldung öffnen" ist nichts in der Liste.
Bei "Im Hintergrund erlauben" gab's nur 4 Programme (Google LLC; Gammarly Desktop, Spotify und Zoom) habe ich alle deaktiviert und neu gestartet.
Subjektiver Eindruck: Der Mauszeiger bewegt sich flüssiger, aber das tänzeln/blinken bleibt!

Mh, also so weit konnte ich zu us.zoom und Grammarly Desktop aktuell nichts positives finden
und würde dazu tendieren, diese beiden zu löschen.

us.zoom.ZoomDaemon kam in Verruf, weil die Mining-Software drinnen hatten oder evtl. noch haben.
Grammarly bereitet bei vielen Systemen Probleme, in dem sie das System und Anwendungen extrem langsam macht usw.
