CDs übers Terminal auswerfen

Moin,

ich bin mir 100prozentig sicher dass ichs hier schon irgendwo gelesen habe kann es aber über die Suche nicht mehr finden.

wie waren nochmal die Befehle um eine CD übers Terminal auszuwerfen wenn der normale Weg über die Eject Taste auf der Tastatur nicht mehr klappt?

diskutil funktioniert leider nur, wenn sich eine CD im Laufwerk befindet, die sich im FS mounten lässt. Hast du eine CD drin, die nicht gelesen werden kann geht's net.

drutil tray <command>

			 Performs a tray/media related command. Note that some drives
			 do not have trays, and some have trays but may lack motorized
				eject or inject capability.

				Tray commands:
			 open	 Opens a drive's tray, if no media is present and the
						 drive has a tray capable of motorized eject.

			 close	Closes a drive's tray, if the drive has a tray capa-
						 ble of motorized inject.

			 eject	Ejects media from the drive, if the drive has a tray
						 capable of motorized eject. If no media is present,
						 this is equivalent to open. If media is present and
						 can be unmounted, it will be unmounted and then
						 ejected. If media is present but cannot be
						 unmounted, the eject will fail.

Mit drutil (oben ein Auszug aus der Manpage) kommst du weiter. So kannst du einen Mitarbeiter über Remote nerven: z.B. per ssh tray ein- oder ausfahren. Der erschrickt dann, wenn der Tray plötzlich aufgeht. Wenn du auch noch Sichtkontakt zum Opfer hast, dann machts so richtig Spaß. Z.B. er macht das drive auf und will eine cd einlegen, doch du schließt es kurz vorher. ;-)
