Beginnende Verzweiflung: Photoshop CS startet nich...

Hallo,

bin seit gestern stolzer Besitzer der Creative Suite Premium von Adobe. Hab natürlich das ganze Paket gleich installiert (Upgrade-Version) ... alles super, nur der Photoshop startet nicht. Nachdem er alle Plugins, Schriften usw. geladen hat, und ich sogar die ersten Paletten schon sehe, k***t er immer mit der Meldung "Programmfehler" ab.

Ich habe schon folgendes versucht:

Alle Rechte repariert: Kein Ergebnis!

Alle Prefs gelöscht: Kein Ergebnis!

Photoshop mit Apfel-Alt-Shift gestartet (=Prefs verworfen): Kein Ergebnis!

PPC, Altivec, Asynchrones E/A, Mehrprozessor aus den Erweiterungen entfernt: Kein Ergebnis!

Die komplette CS neu installiert: Kein Ergebnis!

10.3.0 auf die gelöschte Platte neu installiert, anschließend die CS: Kein Ergebnis!

Auf 10.3.2 geupdated, anschließend CS nochmal neu installiert: Kein Ergebnis!

Die anderen CS-Programme laufen wunderbar, jetzt endet dieser frustrierende Tag, und ich hab mein Photoshop immer noch nicht zum Starten überreden könne.

Ich hab nen G4 533 Dualprozessor, 768 MB, 2 Festplatten, Nvidia Geforce 2

Hat jemand noch ne Idee?

Schmeiss erstmal alles runter was du installiert hast und mach folgendes:
Einen neuen Benutzer mit Administratorrechten erstellen und mit dem dann installieren. Es kann wohl auch Probleme geben, die man dadurch löst, dass man den Ordner /Library/Fonts vor der Installation umbenennt und danach die Fonts wieder in den dann neu erstellten Fonts Ordner reinschmeisst.

Ich hatte da eine ziemlich nette Anleitung, nur ist mir die abhanden gekommen. Ich schau aber nochmal.
 
wohin hast du die cs app denn installiert? ist der namen des ordners zu lange in dem die cs app liegen, so funktionieren einige programme nicht mehr.

Hi,

bei mir verhielten sich einige Programme ähnlich, nachdem ich eine Reihe
von Fonts installiert hatte.
Wenn du einen Schriftenverwalter nutzt, deaktivere mal alle Schriften,
und lass nur die Fonts in deinem Fonts Ordner, die mitgeliefert wurden.

Die Installation mit nem neuen Benutzer hat nichts gebracht, werde mich heute mal um meine Fonts kümmern und dann wieder melden.

Anyway after an evening of experimenting I was able to get the 2 dmg disk set to install. and I now have a fully working Adobe CS install.

Notes

The problematic installers are InDesign and Illustrator

The problem appears to lie in the /Library/Fonts dir. This is documented at the Adobe forums. Before beginning the installation - rename your /Library/Fonts directory to /Library/Fonts-bak and create a new empty /Library/Fonts directory.

If you have the following directory and file in your home/Library/Preferences:
Adobe InDesign (fir)
Adobe Registration Database (file)
Rename them to something else. This was the problem with the InDesign installer. Once I renamed these files InDesign installer ran fine.

You will need to run the installers as "Custom Installs"

Preparation

Move all fonts out of /Library/Fonts

Move or delete ~/Library/Preferences/Adobe InDesign (dir) if you have it.

Move or delete ~/Library/Preferences/Adobe Registration Database (file) if you have it.

Install Round 1 (Acrobat, Golive, Photoshop, Image Ready, InDesign)

Launch Adobe CS Suite Intaller, click the btns, enter SN, yada, yada

When it comes to the actual install screen, select the "Easy Install" menu in the top left corner and change it to "Custom Install"

Uncheck EVERYTHING EXCEPT:
Acrobat
Photoshop/Image Ready
Golive
InDesign

Continue the installation. When complete. quit the installer.


If you have troubles with this method. Run the installer again only selecting Acrobat, Photoshop/ImageReady, and Golive and proceed to Install Alt Round 1 below. If not - skip to Install Round 2.

Install Alt Round 1 (InDesign only)

Launch Adobe CS Suite Intaller, click the btns, enter SN, yada, yada

When it comes to the actual install screen, select the "Easy Install" menu in the top left corner and change it to "Custom Install"

Uncheck EVERYTHING EXCEPT:
InDesign

Continue the installation - at some point you will get an error that a valid System Folder is required and the installer can not continue.

Force quit the installer (cmd+opt+esc). InDesign has been installed.

Install Round 2 (Illustrator)

Launch Adobe CS Suite Intaller, click the btns, enter SN, yada, yada

When it comes to the actual install screen, select the "Easy Install" menu in the top left corner and change it to "Custom Install"

Uncheck EVERYTHING EXCEPT:
Illustrator

Continue the installation - at some point the installer will quit.

Locate the Adobe Illustrator CS directory in your Applications directory and delete these files in /Adobe Illustrator CS/Templates/Business Sets

BusSet 3 Brochure Outside.ait
BusSet 3 Brochure Inside.ait


Select these file in /Adobe Illustrator CS/Templates/Business Sets and duplicate
BusSet 2 Web Site.ait
BusSet 2 Video Label.ait
BusSet 2 Post Card.ait
BusSet 2 Letterhead.ait
BusSet 2 Fax.ait
BusSet 2 Envelope.ait
BusSet 2 Disk Label.ait
BusSet 2 Compliment Slip.ait
BusSet 2 CD Label.ait
BusSet 2 CD Booksleeve.ait
BusSet 2 Business Card.ait
BusSet 2 Brochure Outside.ait
BusSet 2 Brochure Inside.ait

Replace "2" in duplicated files with "3" and remove " copy"
You should now have files named like this:
BusSet 3 Letterhead.ait
BusSet 3 Compliment Slip.ait
BusSet 3 CD Label.ait
BusSet 3 Web Site.ait
BusSet 3 Post Card.ait
BusSet 3 Brochure Outside.ait
BusSet 3 Business Card.ait
BusSet 3 Video Label.ait
BusSet 3 Fax.ait
BusSet 3 Envelope.ait
BusSet 3 Disk Label.ait
BusSet 3 CD Booksleeve.ait


Launch the installer again - selecting Custom Install > Illustrator.

Continue the installation - at some point the installer will probably quit again but Illustrator has been installed.

Finish Installation

Move the fonts in your /Library/Fonts-bak into /Library/Fonts

Geschafft....

... jetzt läuft er.

Es lag wirklich an fehlenden Fonts in der Library.
