Hallo zusammen,

entschuldigt bitte den wenig aussagekräftigen Titel dieses Threads, aber präziser kann ich es leider nicht beschreiben. Beim MBP 13" (Early 2011) mit OS X 10.9.5 meiner Lebensgefährtin hakt es.

Häufig kommt es beim Wechsel zwischen den Anwendungen (cmd + tab) zum "Beachball". Das kann dann mitunter 1-2 Minuten dauern. Manchmal geht es auch reibungslos. Ebenso häufig aber nicht reproduzierbar beim Starten von Anwendungen. Gefühlt am regelmäßigsten von iPhoto und Safari. Beim Safari ist übrigens der Flash-Player als Plug-in installiert. Mittlerweile haben wir dort im Hintergrund immer die Aktivitätsanzeige laufen um evtl. mal einen Prozeß "in flagranti" zu erwischen, oder etwas mehr Informationen zu bekommen.

Den Apple Hardware-Test (auch den ausführlichen) habe ich schon durchgeführt und hat keine Probleme erkannt. Im FPDP steht beim S.M.A.R.T.-Status lediglich "überprüft". Beim Wechsel von OS X 10.8 auf 10.9.5 hatte ich schon die HD ausgetauscht. Nicht aber gegen eine neue sondern eine die bei mir bisher in einem 2.5" Gehäuse ohne Probleme ihren Dienst tat. Ich meine mich erinnern zu können, dass meine Freundin damals (also mit 10.8) auch unregelmäßig genörgelt hat wegen des Beachballs. 10.9 habe ich auch komplett neu installiert und nichts von 10.8 übernommen.

Ich könnte mir schon vorstellen noch mal in eine neue SSD zu investieren, aber auch nur wenn ich sicher bin das die Probleme von der (defekten) HD kommen. Ansonsten würde ich das Problem lieber erst mal so einkreisen.

Könnt Ihr mir helfen? Wie kann ich herausfinden was (Hardware) oder welche Anwendung hier Probleme macht.

Leg mal einen neuen Benutzer an, um festzustellen, ob es etwas mit den derzeitigen Benutzereinstellungen zu tun hat. Wenn Safari unter dem neuen Benutzer einwandfrei läuft, kann die HDD ausgeschlossen werden.

danke für Deine Antwort. (Bei mir gibt es im Moment gar keinen "Danke-Button"??).

Das hatte ich leider vergessen zu erwähnen. Auch unter einem anderen testweise angelegten Benutzer tritt das Problem sporadisch auf. Zusätzlich zu unserem eigentlichen Benutzer (nicht-Admin) gibt es auf unseren Macs auch jeweils noch einen Admin. Auch bei dem tritt das Problem auf.

Gibt es noch erweiterte Anwendungen die ich vielleicht im Terminal, wenn ich von der DVD starte, ausführen kann um detailliertere Festplattenwerte einzusehen? Ist es möglich nachträglich in irgendwelchen Log-Dateien nachzuschauen?

Du könntest dir mal in der Konsole die Meldungen zu dem Crash-Zeitpunkt anschauen und das Ergebnis hier posten. Es gibt hier viele Helfer, die dir dann weiterhelfen können. Ich bin beim Auslesen der Konsole leider überfordert.
 
Prüfe mal die Festplatte mit SMART Utility. Interessant wären auch mal die Meldungen aus der Konsole wenn das Problem auftritt.

Habe ich gerade installiert, Folgendes steht unter Attributen:

Momentan läuft gerade der "long" Test und benötigt noch 134 Minuten.

Hallo emoopo,

vielen Dank für Deine persönliche Nachricht zu diesem Thema. Ich würde mir eine SSD für diesen Mac nur kaufen, wenn definitiv klar ist das es sich um ein Festplattenproblem handelt. Das mit einer SSD alles schneller läuft löst eventuell mein Problem nicht, denn auch mit einer konventionellen HD sollte es nicht haken...

Könnte jemand etwas aus der Log-Datei entnehmen?

Hast du Veränderungen an der gui vorgenommen oder programme genutzt die vorgenen derartiges zu können.
Es gibt probleme im dock und auch in der menüleiste.
lade dir etrecheck, das zeigt dir dann die installierten Erweiterungen an, eventuell findet man da einen der üblichen Verdächtigen: http://www.etresoft.com/etrecheck

Danke für Deine Antwort. Ich habe keine Software die die Gui ändert dort installiert. Überhaupt wurde neben dem OS "nur" MS Office und Adobe-Flash zusätzlich installiert ...

Dock und Menüleiste machen Probleme? Ich bin jetzt gerade auf Dienstreise und kann erst am Freitag wieder an den Rechner ...

Ich hab das Log nur überflogen, bin mit dem iPhone unterwegs, aber es gibt diverse Darstellungsprobleme, bzw Probleme mit dem UserInterface bei verschiedenen Programmen, zum Beispiel auch bei Safari, oder der Konsole etc.
