'Your computer is low on memory'

Hallo Zusammen,

seit Gestern habe ich auf meinem iMac-Bildschirm (21,5", Ende 2013, High Sierra) ein penetrantes Fenster, welches mir sagt: 'Your Computer is low on memory. To free up some memory, please close a few applications'.

Das Fenster läßt sich weder verschieben, noch per 'Close'-Button schließen. Nach jedem Neustart ist es wieder da.

Festplattenspeicher ist mehr als ausreichend vorhanden, und auch CPU% ist laut Aktivitätsanzeige kein Problem.

Aufgrund dieser Tatsachen - und gestützt durch Dinge die ich im Internet gelesen habe - vermute ich, es ist kein Problem meines iMacs, sondern irgendetwas wie ein Virus, Malware oder Sonstwas in der Art.

Ich meine: wenn es von meinem Mac kommen würde, dann würde sich das Fenster doch zumindest verschieben oder schließen lassen, oder ? Außerdem laufen die Antiviren-Programme die ich jetzt extra installiert habe ja auch ohne Probleme, also scheint es keinen Mangel an Speicher zu geben...

Ich hab's mit 'AVG Antivirus' gescannt: keine Auffälligkeiten.

Dann habe ich mir auch noch 'Total AV' gekauft: keine Auffälligkeiten.

Und jetzt bin ich mit meinem Latein am Ende.

Hat Jemand hier einen wie auch immer gearteten Tip für mich, den man auch mit kaum vorhandenen Tiefen-Wissen über Macs verstehen kann ?

Außerdem laufen die Antivieren-Programme die ich jetzt extra installiert habe ja auch ohne Probleme, also scheint es keinen Mangel an Speicher zu geben...

Im Ernst? Extra gekauft? Schmeiss den Mist runter, macht mehr kaputt, als es hilft.

Das ist es doch eben: da müllt Nix zu.
Systemauslastung von unter 3%, und das trotz laufendem Virenscanner.

Vorher im Forum fragen, bevor man geld zum Fenster raus wirft. Wenn eine Testversion etwas nichts findet wird es mit der selben Vollversion kaum bis garnicht Besser.

Der RAM (Arbeitsspeicher) bemisst sich in MB du bist wahrscheinlich noch in der Ansicht für die CPU, d.h. du musst dann schon auch auf "Speicher" drücken um die Werte zu sehen.

Also unter 'Speicher' ist so Einiges aufgelistet, aber ich habe keine Ahnung was davon 'laufen soll' oder was überflüssig ist, und was ich deßhalb beenden könnte. So geschätzt 120 Prozessse, welche im Schnitt von 5-50MB 'verbrauchen'.

Geht schon ganz weit oben los mit Adware detected.

Adware entfernen, Total AV und AVG komplett nach Herstelleranweisung deinstallieren.

abgesehen von deiner sonstigen malware würde ich von adblock plus auf etwas vernünftiges umsteigen, wie ublock origin oder better blocker.

- Mehrere Virenscanner installiert, deinstallieren

- In Zukunft öfter mal ein Backup machen

- Die gefundene adware runterschmeißen.
