meine probleme hätte ich hier schon beschrieben:

leider komm ich absolut nicht weiter. oder wahrsch. hab ich im falschen bereich gepostet. nun versuch ichs hier nochmal.

gerade vor kurzem ists wieder passiert. will ich im xpress bild laden. und klick ich auf das server volume, dann wird xpress extem langsam und schwirrt dann mit fehlermeldung ab. hier der eintrag console.log:

Welche QuarkXpress Version ?
 
Hört sich eher nach nem Serverproblem an da du das Problem der abstürzenden Programme ja generell hast ob Freehand, Quark, LotusNotes.

Schon mal versucht die Dateien zuerst auf den Client zu ziehen bzw. von da aus dann in QXP oder Freehand oder LN zu laden, traue mich zu Wetten das die Probleme dann behoben sind :)

es hängt ganz einduetig mit dem server zusammen. local oder von einem anderem server funktionierts tadellos. das problem ist, es hat jahrelang funktioniert und auf einmal nicht mehr. es wurde aber am server nichts verändert od. installiert. das einzige was ich mir vorstellen könnte, wäre das update auf 10.4.8 oder auch irgendein securityupdate. komischerweise betriffts nur die intelmacs. das weiss ich aber auch nicht genau, weils wieder tagelang funktioniert und dann wieder mal nicht.

komischerweise kann mir der quark support auch nicht sagen was der eintrag im logfile bedeutet.

Hast du schon einmal die Rechte repariert und weiterhin würde ich die Server einmal genau vergleichen, den es muss etwas an dem einen Server anders sein, wenn dieser ständig die Abstürze der Anwendungsprogramme verursacht.
Da es ja alle Programme betrifft, ist hier ein grundsätzliches Problem und nicht etwa auf QuarkXpress hat ein Problem.
 
hab alles mögliche schon probiert. darum tipp ich auf eine systemupdate bzw securityupdate vom tiger (clients).

A problem where Mac OS 10.4X workstations accessing a NetWare 6.5 SP5 server get a hung finder process (finder sits at 30% + CPU in Activity Monitor). Once the finder is hung, it doesn't refresh any folders when files are changed on the network volume. Testing with 10.4.5 & 10.4.6 of Mac OS have same problem. Exists with NW65 SP3, 4 and 5. The problem is NOT with MAC OS 10.3x

.ds_store file in the root of the share was corrupt. (In one case had no rights)

Delete or give rights to the .ds_store file

What is .DS_STORE file?: Under Macintosh OSX .DS_Store holds the information which controls the way a folder will be opened; i.e., the shape and size of the window, the position of the window on the desktop and whether file, folder or icon view has been selected. If you were to delete the .DS_Store the folder would revert to the system default next time it is opened and a new blank .DS_Store would appear (invisibly).

leider hat beides nichts gebracht.
 
das Problem besteht nach wie vor. aber nur noch ab und zu und ich komm einfach nicht drauf an was es liegen könnte.

hat inzwischen wer dasselbe problem od. lösungen?
