Hallo zusammen,

seit geraumer Zeit passiert es mir immer wieder, daß sich Vorschau halbwegs aufhängt und teils über eine Minute benötigt um ein Bild oder eine PDF zu öffnen bzw. im Finder das Vorschaubild darzustellen. Wenn ich den Mac neu starte, ist es wieder ok, hält aber nicht lange an. Das nervt ziemlich so zu arbeiten.

Kennt jemand das Problem und hat eine Lösung?

Hab den Check durchgeführt, aber wenn ich ihn nach der Anleitung hier einfügen will, meckert das System, daß ich max. 10.000 Zeichen verwenden darf. Gibts dafür ne Lösung?

Flash ist eine abgekündigte und heute unnötige und unsichere Software. Deinstalliere sie vollständig und korrekt.

Leider fehlen wichtige Teile des Protokolls. Es wird ja angegeben, dass dein Arbeitsspeicher voll läuft. Nur kann man so nicht sehen weshalb.

Ja ist Absicht, da ich das alles lieber manuell mache. Komisch, daß von dem Bericht was fehlt, da ich dir den kompletten Bericht geschickt habe. Was nun? Gibt es ein Tool um Flash richtig zu deinstallieren?

Ganz blöde Idee.

Die Anleitung um Flash zu deinstallieren gibt es natürlich bei Adobe.

Ist nicht blöd. Nur warte ich ein Update ab, bis die Bugs bereinigt sind, da ich mir einen Crash meines Systems beruflich nicht erlauben kann. Und meine Time Machine Backups werden regelmäßig manuell gemacht, da ich dazu meinen Server anwerfen muß. Der läuft nicht rund um die Uhr. Aber egal, darum geht es hier ja auch nicht.

Ist dir etwas aufgefallen, warum meine Vorschau immer hängt und was ich da tun kann?

Das könnte mit dem Acrobat Reader und/oder dem AdobePDF Plugin für Safari zusammenhängen. Bei mir war das mal vor Jahren so. Da hat sich der Acrobat als Standard für PDFs eingetragen und mir dadurch Vorschau regelmäßig aus dem Tritt gebracht. Bei mir half nur das deinstallieren des Acrobat.

Also Acrobat ist es nicht. Ich habe den Verdacht, daß die Dropbox App daran schuld ist. Hat jemand in der Richtung schon mal was gehört?
