Seit 10.9.2: Apple Mail stürzt ständig ab, Suchfunktion geht nicht

(hab gesucht, keinen bestehenden passenden Thread gefunden, weiß auch nicht, ob das Thema hier oder in iApps richtig ist...)

Das Betreff sagt es eigentlich schon: Seit 10.9.2: Apple Mail stürzt ständig ab, "Gesendet" kann ich eigentlich nicht anklicken, Suchfunktion geht nicht, Mail versenden auch nicht.

Habe Rechte repariert, PRAM- und SMC-Reset gemacht, OS X neu installiert – hat nix geholfen. Was tun?

Beim Installieren von 10.9.2 war ungewöhnlich, dass Little Snitch Verbindungen blockiert hat, die ich auch nur einzeln bestätigen konnte.

Das ist schon mal gut, dann lass uns mal um Dein „kaputtes“ Mail kümmern.

Mit Rechte repariert meinst Du über das Festplattendienstprogramm?
Das würde in Deinem Fall nicht helfen, das sind dann eher die ACL's.

Ich habe da vor kurzem einen kleinen Artikel verfasst der sich eigentlich nur darum dreht die Suche in Mail wieder zu reparieren, aber vielleicht hilft es auch ein Deinem Fall. Zu finden ist das ganze auf meinem öffentlichen Merkzettel, Die Suche in Apple Mail reparieren.

backup hast du? bei mir hat geholfen, den v2 ordner zu löschen, mail neu einrichten. wenn kein imap oder exc dann mails von backup zurückholen.

Kann man machen, aber wieso sollte er es nicht erst mal einfach damit probieren die Envelope Files zu löschen?
So kann Mail sich nen neuen Index aufbauen, ich denke mal da liegt der Hase im Pfeffer begraben.

Bei IMAP kannst Du in den Systemeinstellungen den Mail-Account löschen und neu anlegen.
Mails werden neu geladen und dann läufts wieder. Dauert allerdings ein bisschen, wenn die Mailboxen etwas voller sind.

Ich hatte das Phänomen auch, mit 1und1-Accounts. Die anderen waren nicht betroffen.

Bei POP-Accounts muss man aufpassen, dass die heruntergeladen Mails nicht gelöscht werden. Backup anlegen!!!
