macOS Catalina Schreibtischhintergrund

Hallo, ich habe hier vor mir einen Mac mini von Ende 2014 mit der Catalina Version 10.15.7. In den Einstellungen unter "Schreibtisch und Bildschirmschoner" habe ich eingestellt: ändern alle 15 Minuten in zufälliger Reihenfolge. (Ich will halt Abwechslung) ABER, alle paar Tage ist diese Einstellung entfernt! Warum? Ich kenne dieses Verhalten, das Entscheidungen des Users ignoriert oder wieder zurückgesetzt werden, sonst nur von Windows. Ich bin schon ein wenig enttäuscht und entsetzt das dies jetzt auch bei Macs vorkommt.

Antiviren-Tools habe ich nicht, als Aufräum-, Optimierungsprogramm ist hier Clean my Mac drauf, aber seit ewig nicht mehr benutzt. Weiß nicht ob das im Hintergrund irgend etwas macht. Unter "Menü" ist "Clean my Mac Menü aktivieren" angehackt, unter "Assistent" und "Updates" ist nichts abgehackt. In der "Ignore" Liste steht nichts.

Dieser Mist gehört auf keinen Rechner. Das ist so ziemlich das übelste was man seinem Mac antun kann.
Deinstallier es. Aber ob das überhaupt ordentlich deinstalliert werden kann bezweifle ich.

OK, habe es deinstalliert. Sinnigerweise kann es sich selbst deinstallieren. Also wenn man "Deinstallieren" aufruft steht in der Liste der Programme auch "Clean my Mac". Hätte ich nicht gedacht. Hoffe es reicht.

Mach noch folgendes zur Sicherheit (ich trau dem Deinstaller keinen Meter).
Installier Dir bitte mal EtreCheck (gibt's im AppStore) und lass das mal laufen. Dann das Ergebnis bitte hier posten.

Sieht mal nicht schlecht aus. Allerdings hast du einen Haufen 32bit Software die unter Catalina gar nicht mehr läuft.
Schau mal im Systembericht (schwarzer Apfel->über diesen Mac) im Punkt Programme. Dort sollte aufgeführt werden welch Programme das sind.
Diese deinstallieren.
Und der FlashPlayer sollte auch weg.
Danach dann einen PRAM-Reset machen und schauen ob das Problem weg ist.

Und stell sicher, dass in Systemeinstellungen/Mission Control die Einstellung "Monitore verwenden verschiedene Spasces" nicht angehakt ist.

Den PRAM-Reset habe ich gemacht. Glaube ich zumindestens. Ist gar nicht so einfach. Einschalten und dann schnell "Alt" + "Cmd" +"P" + "R". Gibt es da irgendeine Rückmeldung?
@Exemega: Das Häckchen war dort gesetzt. Hab´s entfernt. Was bewirkt diese Einstellung?

Noch konkreter wäre nur: Dein Mac ist scheiße konfiguriert, änder das! Besser?

Passworteingabe beim Einschalten ist deaktiviert. Filevault ist deaktiviert. Firewall ist an. Mehr kann ich dazu nicht sagen.

Das ist nicht unkonkret, das ist etrem höflich und zurückhaltend formuliert.
PW beim Starten und FV abzuschalten, darüber kann man diskutieren, da geht es um den physischen Zugriff und die Frage, ob du Daten auf dem Rechner hast, die besonders geschützt sein sollten, etwa bei Diebstahl.
Gatekeeper usw. abzuschalten erleichtert aber ganz einfach im normalen Betrieb Angriffe. Und ist nicht notwendig, jedenfalls nicht auf Dauer - nach wohlweislicher Überlegung mal für eine bestimmte Aktion abschalten, okay, aber nicht auf Dauer.
Du lässt sicher die Haus- und Wohnungstür auch nicht dauerhaft offen.

Software-Firewalls auf Rechnern werden übrigens meistens überschätzt.

Kommt da nicht mehr der Startgong?
Früher ertönte der mehrfach in einem gewissen Abstand, da hat man halt die Tasten gedrückt gehalten, bis es viermal gegongt hat.
