Safari und Mail starten nicht mehr!!!

Hallo,

hat jemand für mich einen guten Rat bei riesigem Problem: Mail und Safari lassen sich nicht mehr starten bzw. stürzen nach dem Start sofort ab. Zugriffsrechte und Volume habe ich schon repariert - ändert nichts.

Folgende Fehlermeldung bei Mail-Absturz (Auszug):

Exception Type: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGSEGV)
Exception Codes: KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS at 0x000000005cdcef28
Crashed Thread: 0

Und bei Safari:

Exception Type: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGSEGV)

Zum Glück funktioniert Firefox, aber für die Arbeit benötige ich auch natürlich Mail ...!

Würde mich über Ratschläge sehr freuen!

Ich wollte gerade Safari neu installieren, jetzt crasht auch noch der Installer - was ist denn da los???

Ein bisschen mehr Infos wären nett. Welche Mail/Safari Version? Mac OS X 10.5.?
Seit wann treten die Probleme auf? Hast irgendwas installiert? Was am System verändert?
 
schon mal die entsprechenden .plist-dateien gelöscht?
 
Hm, sorry, sinnvoll natürlich. Alles auf dem neuesten Stand, also 10.5.4. - bis gestern ging auch alles noch wunderbar, dann habe ich das MacBook Pro ausgeschaltet und heute morgen beim Neustart eben beschriebener Fehler.

Könnte natürlich die seitenlagen Fehlerreports anfügen, aber die sind wirklich lang.

Was ich versucht habe:

- Zugriffsrechte reparieren (von CD aus)
- Volume reparieren (dito)
- .plist-Dateien löschen
- ältere Safari-Version von anderem Rechner kopiert
- Löschen und Neuinstallation von Safari - führte nur dazu, dass auch der Installer abstürzt

alles ohne Erfolg.
 
Versuch die Programme mal von einem anderen User aus zu starten.
 
PRAM Reset?? (Apfel+Alt+R+P gleich nach dem Start bis zum 2. Gong gedrückt halten)
 
Leider beides nicht von Erfolg gekrönt. Bei anderem Account gleiches Problem, Mail z.B. geht auf, man sieht alle Ordner, dann hängt es sich auf und stürzt ab.

PRAM habe ich auch gemacht, auch das leider erfolglos.

Kann man machen, allerdings werden bei Mail dann alle Accounts, jedoch nicht die E-Mails gelöscht. Die darf man nach erneutem Anlegen der Postfächer wieder importieren.

Ich würde auf ein Schriftenproblem tippen. Hast Du versehentlich irgendwelche Systemfonts, wie die Helvetica oder Monaco deaktiviert?
 
Ja, die Plist-Löschung habe ich ja auch versucht, trotzdem kam es zum Absturz, nach dem ich die Einfühung in die neuen Funktionen von Mail weggeklickt hatte ...

Was die Schriften angeht: Versehentlich kann ich natürlich nicht ausschließen, generell weiß ich aber nicht, wie man Systemschriften deinstalliert und habe das zumindest bewusst nicht getan. Wie schon gesagt, MacBook Pro nach üblichem Arbeitstag ausgeschaltet (allerdings war der Rechner sehr, sehr langsam, Illustrator arbeitete im Schneckentempo, aber ansonsten alles normal) und keine Schrift-Geschichten gemacht. Wie könnte ich das überprüfen, ob das das Problem ist?

In der Schriftensammlung sind sie beide noch drin, deaktiviert scheint die Helvetica auch nicht zu sein, ich konnte sie soeben deaktivieren, nach erneutem Aktivieren geht es immer noch nicht. Scheint zumindest nicht das Problem gewesen zu sein.
