macOS Mojave Safari kann den Server nicht finden / DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NO_INTERNET

Hallo liebes Forum,

ich habe seit ein paar Tagen ein kurioses Problem und hoffe, dass mir hier jemand weiterhelfen kann.
Auf meinem Mac läuft Mojave 10.14.6 und evtl. nach diesem Update gibt es Probleme mit der Internetverbindung.

Ich kann weder mit Safari noch mit Chrome Webseiten anzeigen. Dabei ist es egal, ob ich über WLAN oder mit Ethernet-Kabel mit dem Router verbunden bin.
Fehlermeldung:
Safari: "Safari kann den Server nicht finden", Chrome: "DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NO_INTERNET"
Wenn ich eine Seite über das Terminal pinge, wird mir "Request timeout for icmp_seq" angezeigt.

Seltsam ist, dass es einige wenige Seiten gibt, die noch funktionieren. Auch in Windows, das ich über Parallels laufen habe, funktioniert die Internetverbindung ganz normal.

Was ich bisher versucht habe:
Router neu starten, Mac neu starten, einige Anleitungen aus dem Web ausprobieren wie DNS manuell eintragen.
Dann bin ich noch auf den Tipp gestoßen, dass man Dateien unter /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/ löschen soll. Aber dieser Ordner existiert bei mir gar nicht

Nix hat bisher geholfen und jetzt muss ich auf meinem schönen Mac über Windows ins Internet gehen

Ich bin schon ganz verzweifelt und würde mich sehr freuen, wenn mir hier jemand weiterhelfen könnte!

und im terminal klappt die DNS auflösung über host oder dig?
was ist denn überhaupt als DNS eingetragen? der router oder was anderes?

Vielleicht suchst du in der falschen Library. Gibt derer ja an drei Stellen auf dem Mac.

Library kenne ich tatsächlich nur eine im Home-Verzeichnis. Wo muss ich denn noch suchen?

anscheinend hast du keinen IPv4 DNS eingetragen.
kriegst du die DNS server vom router oder hast die selbst eingetragen?
falls vom router, schau da mal drauf.

Im Rootverzeichnis: /Library/
Da wirst du wohl den gesuchten Ordner finden.

Dann noch im Systemverzeichnis: /System/Library/
Davon die Finger lassen, weil du sonst das OS schädigen könntest.
