problem, problem - itunes 6.0.2 geschlossen

hallo,

leider folgendes problem auf meinem ibook G4 mit OS X 10.3.9: seit ich mir letzte woche das itunes update runtergeladen habe, also nun itunes 6.0.2 schließt sich itunes sobald ich versuche, ein lied abzuspielen. das gleiche problem habe ich auch, wenn ich versuche vom ipod ein lied abzuspielen(also via itunes). videos lassen sich seltsamerweise abspielen. ich kann titel bearbeiten, titellisten exportieren usw., nur eben: sobald ich ein lied abspielen will, geht das nicht. die lieder sind intakt, das weiß ich. auch die lieder am ipod funktionieren.
nur macht sich itunes eben zu, wenn ich ein lied abspielen will. tja, etwas redundant geschildert, ich hoffe aber verständlich. vielleicht kann mir da wer weiter helfen, hat jemand das selbe problem?
ich wäre überaus dankbar für jeden hinweis.
