OS 10.3.9 Finder Start

Guten Abend,

so, da hab ich meinem Cube eine neue Festplatte spendiert und OS 10.3 ganz neu installiert. Danach alle Updates und Security Patches.
Noch keine Programme.

Der Start ist deutlich schneller als mit Jaguar.
Aber...

Nach dem Login dauert es gut 40s, bis der Finder arbeitet.
Das Dock ist gleich da, dann folgt nach ca. 25s die Uhr und der Anmeldenamen rechts oben und weitere ca. 20s später ist dann die Menübar vorhanden.

Und was habe ich nicht alles probiert:

Preferences löschen, Font Caches reinigen, Fonts löschen (es sind nur die notwendigen drauf), Pflegescript gestartet, Festplattendienstprogramm bemüht...und noch vieles mehr.
Ethernet ist von Automatisch auf manuell geschaltet und konfiguriet. IPv6 abgeschaltet (auch in /etc/hostconfig/). Startobjekte nicht vorhanden.

Zur Hardware:

Cube G4, 1,5GB, 80GB HD, Netzwerk 100MBit, ATI Radeon 7000,

Das System.log sieht ganz okay aus.

Das einzige was mich irriterit ist AppleRS232 und localhost syslogd: /dev/console: Input/output error


Hat irgendjemand Rat?

Jaguar hat in keinster Weise gezickt.

Ach ja Firmwar ist auf aktuellestem Stand und P-R Klammergriff wurde auch schon durchgeführt.
