Sieht gut aus - ist die aktuelle Firmware für den iMac mid 2017. Ist eine Festplatte verbaut? Ist der iMac an sich langsam oder nur wenn du im Internet surfst?

Auf der Rechnung steht: 1 TB Fusion Drive
Wenn ich auf Programme zugreife, die direkt auf dem iMAC sind läuft alles normal.
Problem der Performance nur wenn Internet erforderlich. Zeitgleicher Speedtest mit MACBook ergibt mehr als 40.000 Mbit/sec
Denke das Problem liegt auf dem iMAC

Und da gibt es einige mögliche Ursachen (fehlerhafte Einstellungen, Programme die im Hintergrund laufen und nicht kompatibel mit Catalina sind, schlechte Verbindung, ...). Wie ist denn der iMac verbunden? WLAN oder Ethernet-Kabel?
 
Die Frage Festplatte ist geklärt. Prima.
Es gibt keine nicht kompatiblen Programme, ist mit Go64 geprüft.
Aber, wie kann ich feststellen, ob da noch was im Hintergrund läuft.
Verbunden per W-LAN, das ist einwandfrei.

Diese Warnung bekomme ich nicht weg.

iMAC läßt sich auch nicht ausschalten, startet immer wieder neu.

oder versuche mal mit dem Aktivitätsanzeige (Dienstprogramme) zu sehen ob es auffällige CPU Belastung über längere Zeit gibt wenn du das Internet nutzt.

Noch viel besser – zum Zurückgehen auf 10.14 – wäre es, mit Command-R in die Wiederherstellung zugehen, dort Time Machine zu wählen, und darin den letzten Snapshot vor dem 10.15-Update auszuwählen. Wenn das so kurz zurückliegt, sollte das keinerlei Problem darstellen.

im Single Modus (command +S) aufrufen soll.
Habe nur keine Ahnung, was dieses Kommando bewirkt

Ganz unten im Link von tubo findet man einen Hinweis, der hier womöglich alles aufklärt. M.M.n. ist der Snapshot das Problem, wie auch in der verlinkten Diskussion beschrieben. Das erledigt das System wohl selbst, bzw. Time Machine.

Wobei ich bezüglich des langsamen Internets eine andere Vermutung habe und denke, dass die Fehlermeldung nichts damit zu tun hat. Bin gespannt auf das Etre Check-Protokoll.
 
Das mit der Festplatte/erste Hilfe würde ich auch zuerst ignorieren.
Das wird mit dem Lahmen Internet nix zu tun haben.

Was mich etwas wundert ist, dass du sagst das das WLAN Hervorragend ist und du das schon ausschließt...
Woran machst du das Fest? Nur weil es am anderen Rechner funktioniert?

Wie ist denn die TX-Rate vom betroffenen Rechner?
Dazu mit gedrückter alt-Taste auf das wlan symbol rechts oben klicken.

Irgendwo unten in dem ganzen grau geschriebenen technischen Wust kommt dann "TX Rate: xxx MBit/s
Die bitte mal angeben.

Ansonsten kann es durchaus auch ein DNS Problem sein.
Da testweise mal 9.9.9.9 eintragen.

Etre-Check Protokoll kann auch helfen.

Oh Wunder. mit Eurer Hilfe habe ich das Problem beseitigt.
Etrecheck war ein wertvoller Hinweis. Deshalb verzichte ich hier auf die Wiedergabe des Protokolls.

Da stand eine Information drin, die ich bereinigt habe. Nun habe ich kein TrendMicro mehr, aber CleanMyMAC, das mir hilft Ordnung zu halten läuft immer noch.
Die TX-Rate ist 145 MBit/s

Gelernte Punkte:
Etrecheck und die TX-Rate. Beides kannte ich vorher nicht.
Dann habe ich Eure großartige Hilfe erfahren. Hat mir Mut gemacht.
Die Warnungen in der Festplatten-Hilfe sind immer noch da, schaden wohl aber nicht. Muss ich beobachten.
 
Ein Punkt stört mich noch.

32-bit Applications:

Go64 findet nichts mehr und ich bekomme auch keinen Hinweis, wenn ich die gängigen Programme aufrufe, dass sie zur 32-bit Generation gehören.

Gefunden habe ich noch nicht, wo ich full drive access "enablen" kann. :)

Wieder was gelernt. Nicht so schnell aufgeben. Jetzt habe ich auch den Schalter für full drive access gefunden.
 
Systemeinstellungen/ Benutzer und Gruppen/ Anmeldeobjekte/ da musste du dann das Schloss öffnen mit deinem Passwort dann auf das + drücken und das Programm Etrecheck hinzufügen dann das Kästchen anklicken das hinter dem hinzugefügtem Programm ist und fertig ist die Maus.

Etrecheck war ein wertvoller Hinweis. Deshalb verzichte ich hier auf die Wiedergabe des Protokolls.

Da stand eine Information drin, die ich bereinigt habe. Nun habe ich kein TrendMicro mehr, aber CleanMyMAC, das mir hilft Ordnung zu halten läuft immer noch.

Kannst du vielleicht noch einen Hinweis darauf geben, was für langsames Internet gesorgt hat? So kann jeder der ein ähnliches Problem hat und auf diesen Thread stößt eine mögliche Lösung finden und es bei Bedarf ausprobieren?

Letztendlich werden sich wieder 2 AV-Tools in die Quere gekommen sein, wie so oft.
