Hi,

wollte gerade MySQL installieren nach folgender Anleitung:
http://developer.apple.com/internet/opensource/osdb.html

Habe mich dann an diesem Zitat aufgehängt:
Once you have the source, you can pretty much follow the quick install directions from the mysql documentation pages, adding only debug support ( — with-debug) and the build environment comment ( — with-comment).

Allerdings geht es hier:
http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.1/en/quick-install.html

Password:
su: Sorry
lilli:~ dusselmann$ groupadd mysql
-bash: groupadd: command not found
lilli:~ dusselmann$ sudo groupadd mysql
Password:
sudo: groupadd: command not found
lilli:~ dusselmann$ su groupadd mysql
Password:
su: Sorry

Ideen / Hinweise?

When installing MySQL, you need to be aware of the potential effect this will have on the security of your system, as a database server can open an avenue of attack. In the example below, I show how to install MySQL on Mac OS X while maintaining the security of your system.
