Mein Mini laggt wenn eine USB Festplatte angeschlossen ist

Also ich hatte schon sehr lange und oft Probleme mit meinem 2012er Mini.
Er war träge, manchmal super langsam, Programme öffneten sich in Zeitlupe, manchmal erst nach einer Minute.
Der Bootvorgang dauert ewig trotz FusionDrive. Manchmal war arbeiten gar nicht möglich. Alles zäh wie Leder. Andauernd sah ich den Beachball, selbst bei den kleinsten Aktionen.

Irgendwie habe ich die externen USB Festplatten in Verdacht.

Drei habe ich i.d.R. angeschlossen. Eine nur mit Filmen welche von der iTunes Mediathek ausgelagert sind,
einmal TimeMachine und einmal CCC.

Es handelt sich in allen Fällen um 8TB Western Digital MyBook.

Jetz habe ich probeweise alle abgehangen und seitdem rennt der Mini wie ein Windhund.
Ich habe es noch nicht so lange probiert, as dass ich die HDDs eindeutig dafür verantwortlich machen kann,
aber irgendwie ist das doch merkwürdig. Kann das sein?

Habt Ihr eine Idee woran das liegen könnte?

Ich hänge hier mal einen EtreCheck Report dran. Ich wäre Euch dankbar wenn Ihr da mal reinschauen könntet.

sinnvollerweise jetzt mit "full drive access enabled" und in code-tags gepostet.
 
Hatte eine zeitlang keine externe Festplatte dran und keine Probleme mehr.
Wenn ich jetzt an den laufenden Mini eine dranstöpsel klappt auch alles.
Ich werde daraus nicht schlau.
 
Okay google hat geholfen beim Vollzugriff.

I cannot get Full Drive Access to work?
Unfortunately, Full Drive Access is a system restriction. All that EtreCheck can do
is point you to the system features to enable it. In the Mac App Store version of
EtreCheck, you must give EtreCheck read access to the root directory on your hard
drive. You must do this in EtreCheck’s Preferences. If you have macOS 10.14
“Mojave”, using either EtreCheck from the Mac App Store or EtreCheckPro, Full Drive
Access requires going to System Preferences > Privacy > Full Disk Access and adding
EtreCheck or EtreCheckPro to the list. This means that if you are running EtreCheck
from the Mac App Store on Mojave, there are two steps required.

Hi,
würde zuerst mit abgesteckter USB-HDD, den SMC- und Pram-Reset ausführen, den Pram-Reset aber mindestens 4x hintereinander laufen lassen, wenn das nicht Hilft noch mal einen neuen Etrecheck Scann hier posten.

vielleicht solltest du mal die CCC volume von spotlight ausschließen?
ganz unten ist ein crash vermerkt, der ursächlich auf einem korrupten spotlight index beruht.

sonst mal probiert, die platte nicht in den ruhezustand gehen zu lassen?
weil das warten auf hochfahren der platte lässt das system auch hängen.
jeder öffnen/speichern dialog lässt das system alle platten wieder hoch fahren.

Sieht jemand von Euch in dem Bericht noch ein Problem?
 
Ein weiteres Problem habe ich ja mit iTunes wobei ich nicht weiß ob das zusammen hängt.
Ich kann nur mit größter Mühe und unendlicher Geduld über mein ATV3 einen Film angucken
welcher auf der externen HDD liegt.
Obwohl alles per LAN verbunden, sehe ich am Fernseher Ewigkeiten den rotierenden Beachball.
Es dauert etliche Minuten, manchmal ne halbe Stunde bis der Film startet.
Und dann zwischendurch mehrere Unterbrechungen mit ewigem Nachladen.

zu deiner externen USB-HDD, ich vermute eventuell ein Hardware Problem mit dem USB-Kontroller im Gehäuse, hast du noch eine andere USB-HDD zum Gegentesten?.

Nein, habe gerade keine andern da.
Allerdings fällt mir gerade ein dass ich schon seit einiger Zeit ein Problem mit den USB Anschlüssen im Mini habe.
Von den Vieren die vorhanden sind funktionieren irgendwie nur zwei.
Bei den anderen wird nichts erkannt.
Kann es sein, dass dir einen Hau weg haben und Probleme bereiten?

oh ja, das ist schon möglich, dass die USB-Steuerung im Mini einen Defekt hat, sowas sollte man immer im Eingangspost erwähnen.

hast du jetzt neben dem PRAM reset auch den SMC reset mal gemacht?
der half bei defekten firewire ports manchmal, die wieder zum leben zu erwecken.
einfach mal probieren, ob die nicht auch deine kaputten USB ports wieder belebt.
