Einige Apps, waren nach dem Update auf Catalina durchgestrichen, da war es offensichtlich, dass sie nicht mehr laufen, doch woran erkenne ich noch, dass es 32 Bit Apps sind ??

Einfach mal so gefragt, hast du schon mal darüber nachgedacht ( falls du es nicht schon gemacht hast ) Alles neu zu installieren?
Ich meine einen Cleanistall zu machen. Damit wirst du Altlasten los und hast nur noch aktuelles drauf was auch auf Catalina läuft.
Das Backup ( ich hoffe du machst regelmässig eines ) kannst dann halt vergessen. Da solltest dann deine wichtigen Sachen seperat sichern wie Dokus Filme Musik etc.

Aber irgendwo hackt es aber wo??? Denn bei Etrecheck kann man nichts erkennen was da hackelt.

Ok, ich habe ja jetzt Power Nap deaktiviert und einige alte Apps runtergeschmissen, vielleicht, hat da ja einer etwas ausgelöst. Ich werde es mal weiter beobachten.
Wie ist das jetzt mit dem TRIM, muss ich das aktivieren ?? Und wenn ja, wie ??

Hi,
im Terminal, "sudo trimforce enable" ohne die Anführungszeichen, eingeben und enter Drücken, dann blind das Admin Passwort eingeben und nochmal enter Drücken, der Rest ist selbst erklärend.

Aktueller Stand, mein iMac läuft wieder wie gewohnt.... Power Nap scheint wirklich der Übeltäter gewesen zu sein

Auch wenn dein Problem gelöst ist, werfe ich noch eine andere Ursache in den Ring, falls später jemand auf diesen Thread stößt.

Mir ging es nämlich ähnlich mit meinem Late-2015-iMac, seit Catalina bzw. der Umstellung des Fusion Drives auf AFPS wurde der Rechner immer langsamer, wollte öfter nicht aufwachen, hatte kernel panics und wollte manche Ordner und Dateien gar nicht mehr lesen. EtreCheck führte keine größeren Probleme auf.

Die Erste-Hilfe des Festplatten-Dienstprogrammes im Recovery-Modus lieferte dann diese Fehler "error: directory valence check: directory (oid 0x7004c): nchildren (1) does not match drec count (0).", wie hier um Forum beschrieben - bei mir aber nicht nur in den Snapshots.

Jetzt bin ich gerade dabei, alle wichtigen Dateien zu sichern, da ich der TimeMachine nicht traue und auch CarbonCopyCloner beim Sichern abschmiert Die fehlerhaften Dateien lassen sich auch im CCC-Backup nicht lesen

Nach fsck_afps (ist das Gleiche, was die 1. Hilfe des Festplatten-Dienstprogrammes macht) im single user mode (guter Sehtest auf dem 5k-Monitor), kann ich inzwischen einige der betroffenen Dateien auf eine portable SSD sichern - eine 300 GB-Bilderdatenbank dauert ca. 24h...

Danach hilft wohl nur eine Neuformatierung des Fusion Drives und hoffen, dass nach dem Rückspielen das Backups nicht allzu viele weitere Dateien betroffen sind. Ich weiß noch nicht, ob ich aus CCC oder TM wiederherstellen soll.

Hallo Leute, heute habe ich dazu überwunden, meinem iMac ein Clean Install zu gönnen. Der Beachball kam immer öfters. Habe ja nicht viel auf dem iMac gespeichert. Mache direkt mal ein Etrecheck, wenn er läuft, mal sehen, da da angelegt wird.
