Hallo liebe Community,

ich habe mir leider schon MacOS Catalina heruntergeladen und bin leider nicht so ganz Glücklich damit.

Ich habe vor allem folgendes Problem manchmal wenn mein Mac nach dem Standby wieder erwacht, kann ich danach keine Dateien, die sich auf dem Schreibtisch mit mac eigenen Programmen öffnen oder irgendwo anders hin verschieben. Ich kann eben so wenig Dateien in Unterordnern auf dem Schreibtisch verschieben. Ich habe berreits den halben Tag damit zugebracht das irgendwie wieder zu beheben.

Nach nem Neustart geht es wieder aber ich habe keine Lust meinen Mac jedes mal nach dem ich 2 Stunden weg war neu zu starten.

10.15.1 ist bei dir installiert?

Lade dir bitte mal Etrecheck beim Hersteller runter, scanne den Rechner damit -full drive access bitte- und zeige uns den Report hier bitte.

Was spricht dagegen Catalina zu deinstallieren und wieder auf Mojave zurück zu gehen?
Dann hast Du vermutlich das Problem los und wartest einfach ein paar Monate bis Apple Catalina auf einen "reifen" Stand gebracht hat....
 
Also hier macht Catalina 10.15.1 auf einem halben Dutzend Maschinen keine Probleme.

Ich würde zunächst Ursachenforschung betreiben. ;)

Klar, wenn man gerne "forscht" :D

Wenn Mojave OK war und Catalina Ärger macht, dann würde ich nicht lange Zeit damit verbraten und nach der Ursache zu suchen (besonders wenn man weiß, dass Catalina aktuell noch so einige Macken hat), sondern auf das funktionierende Mojave zurückwechseln.

Man will ja mit dem Gerät arbeiten und nicht Fehler suchen.... :cool:

An sich bin ich zufrieden mit Catalina auch die Möglichkeiten die es bietet und mitbringt, es ist wirklich nur das eine Problem. Das behindert halt schon ganz schön im Arbeitsalltag.

Außer Catalina ist ja schon eine Menge an sonstiger Software nachinstalliert, die stören könnte, z.B. weil sie nicht ausreichend an das neue macOS angepasst sein könnte und tief ins System eingreift:

Das ist der Grund, weshalb hier oft Etrecheck-Reports angefordert werden: Der User erinnert sich nicht so recht, was alles passiert ist.

Ich sehe gerade: da ist ja sogar noch Flash im Boot. Da werden auch noch ein paar Virenscanner nicht helfen ;-)
 
Eigentlich ganz ok.

Kaspersky könnte man mal testweise runternehmen.
Der hat Funktionen wie Sicherer Zahlungsverkehr und Tastatureingaben überwachen - die die komischsten Probleme verursachen können.
Wirklich notwendig ist ein zusätzlicher Virenscanner unter macOS eigentlich nicht.
Aber vielleicht gibt es bei dir ja Gründe, den zu haben..
Deinstallieren und Testen ist eine gute idee.
Wenn du ihn dann unbedingt wieder haben willst wird er bei einer neuinstallation natürlich auch wieder neu und sauber im System registriert...

Hmm... Vielleicht ist es ein Problem der Berechtigungen.
Schaue bitte mal, ob der Kaspersky (oder andere Programme) unter
Systemeinstellungen -> Sicherheit -> Datenschutz alle nötigen Berechtigungen haben.

Flash ist natürlich oft nicht mehr notwendig.
Deine Version ist aber aktuell und vermutlich im Browser zusätzlich noch deaktiviert.
Ich würde ausschließen, das Flash das Problem verursacht.

@tubo Danke für die schnelle Antwort. Also bei /Library/Extensions sind bei mir so 10-12 Sachen drinnen die alle raus hauen?

Ich kann leider mit Flash im Boot nicht so recht was anfangen?

die Berechtigungen habe ich schon alle angepasst Kaspersky hat Fesplattenvollzugriff und an sich habe ich das alles nach der Catalina Installation nachbearbeitet.

Ok dann werde ich den Flashplayer mal eliminieren der Bums ist eigentlich noch Überbleibsel von dem iMac davor.
 
Unter Bedienungshilfen steht der nicht drin?
Hab keinen Kaspersky aber das kann ich mir kaum vorstellen.

Wir haben eine Fernwartungssoftware, die eher schlecht unter 10.15 arbeitet.

Die neuen Catalina-berechtigungen werden oft im System nicht sauber angefragt.
Man muss 3-6 Objekte (die auf den ersten blick nichts mit der Software zu tun haben) in verschiedenen Datenschutz-Karteireitern (Dateizugriff/Bedienungshilfen/Bildschirmaufzeichnung) freigeben.
Manchmal erscheinen die Einträge aber nicht.

Da hilft es meist die Software zweimal hintereinander zu installieren.

Das würde ich mit Kaspersky auch nochmal machen.

Edit: und mit VirtualBox - hau die aktuelle 6.0.14 auch nochmal drüber.
 
Alle Extensions raushauen? Hast Du sie auch reingehauen? Versuche lieber alles so zu deinstallieren, wie es der jeweilige Hersteller vorgibt (Deinstallationsroutinen nutzen). Das dauert natürlich alles etwas. Aber fang mal mit dem Kaspersky an.
Wenn es nicht besser wird… könnte man das System auch neu installieren, und nur die wirklich nötigen Sachen weiterbenutzen…

Nein Unter Bedienungshilfen ist Kaspersky bei mir nicht.

ok dann deinstalliert und installiere ich noch mal Kaspersky.

mal schauen vlt. hilft das ja weiter.
 
Das sind alle Extensions @tubo die ich bei mir drauf habe. Keine Ahnung wo die her kommen oder zu welchen Programmen die immer gehören

Und starte mal mit Command-R im Recovery-Mode, um dann von dort Dein Fusiondrive gründlich auf Fehler zu testen (Festplattendienstprogramm).

Etrecheck gibt Dir doch Hinweise, wo die Softwarekomponenten herkommen. Bitte nicht einfach so löschen (raushauen)!
