Liebe Mac-Freunde!
Folgende Situation:
Gegeben sei ein MacBook Pro 13" Late-2011. Ihr könnt euch vorstellen, dass das Eisen ganz schön lahm geworden ist (momentan läuft Sierra).
Von einer 5200-rpm-HDD und 4 GB RAM kann man keine Wunder erwarten.
Mir ist klar, dass ein Upgrade höchste Eisenbahn ist, doch tut sich mir da folgende Frage auf.
Also, ein Upgrade des Arbeitsspeichers und Austausch HDD -> SSD würde mich zwischen 300 und 400 Euro kosten. Was mich beunruhigt ist die Frage, inwieweit dadurch die "praktische Lebensdauer" meines MacBook Pros verlängert wird. Mit anderen Worten: Ich sehe schon kommen, dass mit 10.14 oder spätestens 10.15 die Unterstützung für das Late-2011 abgeschafft wird. Und ich kann mir nicht vorstellen, dass ein einfaches Upgrade zweier Komponenten die Pauschalaussage "Late 2011 wird nicht mehr unterstützt" beeinflusst. Dann hätte ich viel Geld für ein Upgrade ausgegeben, aber dennoch keinen Computer, der mit einem modernen Betriebssystem läuft.
Daher nun meine Frage:
Soll ich dennoch upgraden, oder haltet ihr es für sinnvoller, die 300+ Euro zur Seite zu legen und als Grundstock für ein Neugerät zu nehmen?
